Jealousy

       Thoma had been thinking about way too many things. First, he was really, really hung up on that kiss... Oh why did he have to do it? The other thing he was worried about was that guy Asahi who was planning to confess to Ayaka sometime soon.

      "Which one should I be thinking about first?" Thoma muttered as he got changed, Ayaka still asleep.

    After a few more minutes, Thoma opened the door and walked out, helped with prepping for breakfast and then, he waited as usual for Kazari to come and in the meantime, he decided to think about if he would be thinking about that embarrassing kiss or the fact that his girlfriend was going to get a confession.

    "Young Lady would reject him though..." Thoma mumbled quietly, "But just the general thought of someone else..."

    "Newcomer, what are you muttering about so early in the morning?" Kazari asked, coming around the corner.

    "Ah! Kazari!" Thoma exclaimed.

    "If it's nothing then let's hurry up and wake up Young Lady." Kazari said and continued walking.

    "K-Kazari!" Thoma said quickly, "Has a housekeeper ever asked Young Lady out before?"

     'You.' Kazari thought but then said, "I don't know."

   "Oh, really? Whew!" Thoma looked relieved and then thought, 'That means that this guy hasn't asked her out once already.'

     "Newcomer, hurry up." Kazari clapped her hands and Thoma realized that she had started to walk on without him.

     "Hey! Wait for me!" Thoma said and ran after her to catch up.

    "You have no meetings planned and should have a lot of time today." Thoma announced, reading Ayaka's schedule for the day.

     "Thoma, why do you sound so defeated?" Ayaka asked.

     "Well, they say nowadays that people who stay in one room get good luck." Thoma lied, he honestly just wanted Asahi to not catch her alone and try to ask her out.

     "Oh really? I did not realize there was such a thing." Ayaka looked intrigued.

    "Young Lady, Newcomer is joking," Kazari said, "Newcomer just has a lot on his mind today."

     'Eh? Why? Did that girl from yesterday ask him out?' Ayaka fretted over the conversation that she had eavesdropped on while she was in her office.

     "My apologies Young Lady, it's just that I heard some news in the kitchen yesterday," Thoma sighed, "One that you shouldn't concern yourself with."

     "O-oh, in that case, I hope you'll be okay." Ayaka tried to smile.

     'Mina... was that her name? Did she pop by the kitchen?' Ayaka's mind started to go to the worst-case scenario.

    Ayaka and Thoma both sighed while Kazari looked at both of them, wondering what on Teyvat was going on in both of their minds.

    "I'm going to have to be careful," Thoma sighed, "I wonder if he's actually going to do it though..."

     "Thoma, what are muttering about this early in the morning?" Itsuki asked, "If you have time to talk, then you have time to realize that the water is boiling."
