Taking Action

    Thoma and Abdiel rushed back into the estate and when they finally stopped, thinking that they were far away enough, both needed to collapse onto the floor to catch their breath.

   "We-we need to tell M'lady and Lord Ayato." Thoma managed to spit out between heavy breaths.

   "N-no..." Abdiel wheezed back.

   "H-huh....?" Thoma panted.

   "M-Mr. Kurosiki has too many connections for them to take him on personally." Abdiel explained.

   "H-he's just the owner of a tea company!" Thoma finally managed to catch his breath.

   "But the amount of powerful business connections he's has in Mondstadt and Liyue are serious," Abdiel pointed out, "Mr. Kurosiki isn't strong by himself but rather, with the group he's managed to build."

   "I-I see...." Thoma sighed, ".... Hey, at least give Lord Ayato credit for teaching you all that stuff."

   "Heheh. It was also Sharar." Abdiel said with a proud grin.

   "What did I do?" Sharar questioned, she stood in front of Thoma and Abdiel with her arms crossed.

   "Just teaching me stuff about our special guest." Abdiel waved his hand.

   "He's special alright." Sharar had scornful eyes.

   "You know something?" Thoma asked.

   "I was watching from the window, you two eavesdropping on him." Sharar replied, "He noticed me afterwards."

   "So... we really can't do anything?" Thoma questioned.

   Sharar stayed silent.

 "Hey... Sharar.... we can't do anything?" Thoma repeated on got to his feet, his voice cracked as he said, "Say something! Say... say anything...."

 "Thoma... calm down..." Abdiel also stood up to place a hand on his friend's shoulder.

 "We.... we can," Sharar replied, "It's an unethical approach though."

 "What is it?" Thoma questioned.

  "Last night, I got up to get a drink of water and then Itsuki asked me to get the dishes from Mr. Kurosiki and his bodyguards but they weren't in their rooms." Sharar explained.

  "Suspicious..." Abdiel sighed.

  "So what's the 'unethical approach' you were talking about?" Thoma asked, his Pyro Vision ignited as he clenched his hands and said, "I'll do anything to keep M'lady and the Kamisato estate safe."

  "Follow Mr. Kurosiki and his bodyguards to see where they go at night," Sharar started, "If it's something bad, I can study more into it and put it together as blackmail or as a threat."

  "I'll do it!" Thoma declared.

  "I can too." Abdiel said. 

  "We'll get ready to leave tonight then." Sharar nodded.

  "It's a plan!" Thoma and Abdiel said in unison.

   Ayaka hid behind her fan as she yawned slightly, it had been a while since she had done a formal meeting alongside her brother who of course, was managing to look effortlessly perfect.

 "I wonder what Nii-sama is thinking to be able to look like that for so long..." Ayaka thought, "I must improve!"

  "Wow... Ayaka's beside me... for the first time in a formal meeting in months... I have to look cool!" Ayato was thinking nonstop.
