     It had been a day since Isa had passed on, after Ayaka and Thoma had left the hospital, Thoma claimed that he was alright even though it was clear he had cried.

   Ayaka had gripped Thoma's hand tightly as they walked back to the Kamisato estate where they had been greeted by Tetsuya.

  Immediately, Tetsuya was able to tell that something was wrong. He didn't greet them as he normally would and actually bowed properly when Ayaka got near.

  "It's okay kid, it's okay." Tetsuya assured just as Thoma passed, he put his hand on Thoma's head and messed with his hair a little.

  Since it was late at night, there were little to none workers in the hallway. The only ones who were up were the night-shift guards, a few of the heads of departments, most likely Ayato, and some workers who were just heading off to bed.

   As they walked back to Ayaka's room, they ran into Abdiel and Sharar. Both were in pyjamas, were carrying towels, and the clothes they had worn that day.

  "Are you two heading off to bed?" Ayaka asked.

 "Oh, yes. There was a lot to do today with helping out Young Lord." Sharar replied.

  "Thank you for helping him." said Ayaka.

  "Thoma, how's your mom?" Abdiel asked.

   There was no reply. Ayaka squeezed Thoma's hand gently and with silence being his answer, Sharar and Abdiel knew what happened.

   "Oh... so she's..." Sharar trailed off.

   Abdiel shifted his weight from one food to another, the conversation had turned awkward.

  "My condolences." Sharar eventually said.

  "Yeah, same, it's too bad that she..." Abdiel didn't dare finish that sentence.

   "It's fine, I knew it would happen." Thoma replied.

   There were a few more seconds of silence.

   "U-um.... Lady Ayaka, could Thoma sleep over in my room tonight?" Abdiel eventually asked.

   "Hm? Uh..." Ayaka looked at Thoma who looked slightly confused but still shrugged, "Alright..."

   "Thanks Lady Ayaka! I swear to return him by tomorrow!" Abdiel promised.

   Ayaka nodded and walked off after saying good night to Thoma, was it the right thing for her to do to leave Thoma with Abdiel?

   "Abdiel, what are you thinking?" Sharar hissed quietly.

   "Huh? Do you want to sleepover in my room too?" Abdiel asked.

   "No. I'm fine." Sharar replied bluntly.

   "Don't worry about it Sharar, everything will be fine." Abdiel assured and patted her shoulder.

    Sharar groaned and then sighed.

    "Don't get in trouble," said Sharar before looking up at Thoma, "Do you need to get anything from your room before going to Abdiel's?"

    "Huh? Uh... no." Thoma snapped back into attention, he had been zoning out.

    "Alright! Then let's get going!" Abdiel put on a smile for Thoma.
