Warms Up Every Heart

    "Whoa, this is actually really good!" Thoma exclaimed, the book 'Norwegian Wood' was on his lap and using his Pyro Vision to provide some light during the night, Thoma had finished reading the first chapter.

    "It's a very fascinating read." Ayaka agreed.

   Thoma proceeded to flip the page and begin reading the second chapter, completely mesmerized. A cold gust of wind blew through the room and Ayaka shivered slightly, the window was open so she decided to go an close it.

   "Winter's going to be here soon..." Ayaka mumbled, in three days, she and Thoma would be heading out to Mondstadt and then travel to Liyue. Needless to say, if someone said that Ayaka was excited, it wouldn't be an exaggeration. 

    "Wha-? I didn't see that coming!" Thoma exclaimed, "Wow..."

    Ayaka turned to look at Thoma and started to pout slightly, he was so busy reading... Ayaka leaned over his shoulder to see what part he was on and then remembered seeing a couple do something during the moon viewing festival. Ayaka wrapped her arms around Thoma and hugged him from behind which let the two of them read together.

   "Oh! Ahaha..." Thoma leaned his head back slightly so he was touching Ayaka's and held the book in a way that let both him and Ayaka to read it easier.

   "Thoma, I was looking through my old letters from Hu Tao," Ayaka eventually said, "From what she said, there's apparently a festival going on in Liyue."

   "Ah... then should we go to Liyue first?" Thoma asked and Ayaka nodded.

   "Mm..." Ayaka said, "It would be nice to see a Liyue festival."

   "I'm sure it's a lot of fun." Thoma smiled.

   "Oh... but we should've sent a letter in advance to Hu Tao and Zhongli..." Ayaka realized.

   "I'm sure it's fine Young Lady," Thoma reassured, remembering how Hu Tao and Zhongli showed up at the Kamisato estate unannounced, "Let's just barge in on them!"

  "Eh... is that a good idea?" Ayaka asked.

  "Of course it is." Thoma nodded.

  ".... Alright...." Ayaka sighed.

    Thoma yawned as he got changed into his usual clothes and shivered, even though the window had been closed, the room was still chilly. Thoma looked over at Ayaka who despite having the blanket cover her, still looked cold so Thoma just took out the comforter for his futon and put it over her.

    "Alright, let's get our day started!" Thoma exclaimed quietly and before fastening his Vision to his belt, he rubbed his hands on either side of it and felt his entire body warm up instantly. After clipping it on, Thoma's body stayed warm and he left the room to start making breakfast.

    Everything in the kitchen was cold. The floors were cold, they walls were cold, the tables were cold, the tables were cold, and everyone was huddling around the stove as it boiled a pot of water.

   "Thoma, you look warm." Kiana shivered.

   "Well, you could say that." Thoma grinned.

   "Come on everyone, get to work." Itsuki sighed, he was the only one at the tables and was actually working.
