"Gorou... this is the place, correct?" Sangonomiya Kokomi asked.
"Of course!" Gorou assured.
"We're looking for the Kamisato estate," Sangonomiya Kokomi reminded.
"This is... the Kamisato estate..." Gorou trailed off, "Oh, we made a wrong turn somewhere."
...
Thoma was in Ayaka's office and was serving her lunch when there was a sudden knock on the door.
"Yes?" Ayaka asked and looked at Thoma who shook his head, she wasn't expecting any visitors today.
"Lady Kamisato Ayaka? Its me, Sangonomiya Kokomi." said the voice on the other side of the door, "My apologies for not scheduling an appointment but may I come in?"
"Oh! Yes! Of course!" Ayaka exclaimed and cleaned her desk off, the door opened and the shrine priestess of Watatsumi Island came inside.
Thoma straightened himself up and watched as Gorou came in. Both Gorou and Sangonomiya Kokomi gave Thoma a slight bow which he returned by bowing deeply.
"So, Lady Sangonomiya Kokomi-" Ayaka was about to begin however, she was interrupted.
"Please, just call me Kokomi, Lady Kamisato Ayaka."
"Oh... alright, then please just call me Ayaka," the heiress added quickly, "Well... Lady Kokomi, may I ask the reason for your visit?"
"Well, I simply must thank both you and your attendant-" Kokomi looked Thoma in the eyes, "For what you both did yesterday."
"Thank you Lady Kamisato Ayaka and Thoma for saving me, Her Excellency, and the Watatsumi Army!" Gorou exclaimed promptly.
"Me?" Thoma pointed to himself.
"I wasn't able to help Her Excellency yesterday," Gorou explained, "So thank you for guiding her to safety."
Gorou bowed and Thoma couldn't believe that a general was thanking him for something.
"Erm... well... I just did what I was thinking in the moment." Thoma said.
"Good for you Thoma." Ayaka praised with a proud smile.
"Thank you as well Lady Kamisato Ayaka," Gorou turned to the heiress, "You were able to stop the fight between our two armies."
"Ah, there's no need for you to call me 'Kamisato Ayaka' just call me 'Ayaka.'"
Gorou bowed once more.
"So... Lady Kokomi, what happened to the soldiers who got hurt?" Ayaka asked.
"I healed them and sent the Watatsumi Army home." Kokomi replied simply.
"Ah, I see."
"Well then, we must be going. We've taken up enough of your time," Kokomi bowed once more, "Once again, thank you for everything. Narukami Island is simply beautiful."
Gorou then mumbled a few words. Something along the lines of: "If only the shogun wasn't here..."
Ayaka quickly stood up and said, "If it's not too much trouble. Would you like me and Thoma to show you around?"
Kokomi turned around, she looked at Gorou who shrugged and then thought about it.
"Would that be okay?" Kokomi questioned after thinking about the idea for a few seconds.
