After Sehun learnt that Jennie was Ruby Jane, he was so shocked that he felt his brains flew out of his mind. He rushed to see Lisa and demanded for an explanation.
"This is... This is impossible!" Sehun exclaimed after he heard Lisa's story. "This... This is like a fairytale story!" he started pacing in front of Lisa. "Did you know about her story though? She is a little dark. I mean... she is a very scheming businesswoman. Have you done your research? She had acquired businesses in both Europe and South America by force. I heard the Arison malls that she acquired were also through force. She is the epitome of a greedy and shady personality in the business world."
"No need to fret over this matter. I am a busy man. Stop disturbing me." Lisa said, his eyes focused on his laptop.
" So you knew? And you are okay with it? My friend in Europe said something about her being such a cold person. She is notorious for manipulating people to do her bidding. Do you think they are telling the truth about her?" When Lisa did not answer him, Sehun continued, "You married such a scary woman, Lisa ah, you have to be very careful. What if she agreed to marry you because she wanted something from you?"
"Hmmm... then she can have it." He answered nonchalantly. "She can have everything that is mine."
"Ah?" Sehun was speechless. How did Lisa become like this? However, he also understood him. Jennie meant the world to Lisa. He had been working his ass off so she would agree to marry him one day. Now that she is his already, Sehun was sure that Lisa would do everything to please her.
Not that he was against it. Sehun was sincerely happy for Lisa. However, he found Jennie too scary. A woman who had triumph in the business industry is not just some normal woman. Sehun was sure that he was lucky that Jennie only let him ate a salty pancake.
"The tabloids and online gossip sites has been guessing that you two are already married but there hasn't been any confirmation. Are you planning to announce this soon?" Sehun asked. Both Jennie and Lisa must have made some enemies in the past. People that are just lurking and waiting for them to make some mistakes. Sehun was concern that some people might use this opportunity to cause trouble for the couple.
"I don't see the point of announcing my marriage to everyone." He answered.
"Hmmm..." Sehun nodded. "You sound too righteous but I know you. Hah. Did she tell you not to tell anyone? I knew you would never do something that would make her angry. Tell me, in the scale of one to ten, how henpecked are you?"
"Still too noisy." Lisa suddenly rose from his seat and turned his back at his friend. He looked at the FC Group sign. "Our relationship is ours and there is no need to tell the world about it. The only important thing is that she is already mine and I am hers. Other people's opinions do not matter to us."
"Alright... It is obviously an eleven." Sehun let out a laughed before he stood from his seat. "Well then... I will leave now and try to avoid coming to your home again. I am afraid that your wife will truly poison me next time. I'll call you if something comes up."
"Hmmm..." Lisa nodded as he tucked his hand into his pocket.
"Oh... by the way. Your mother's death anniversary is coming. Are you going to go to Japan?" Sehun asked. Lisa and Sehun had been together since they were born. Literally.
Both kids grew up in the orphanage and they left the orphanage together. They also went to Japan to work at the same time.
When Lisa was adopted by a rich couple, Sehun become his right hand man and was always at his beck and call. Because of this, he had grown quite close to the couple who adopted Lisa. In fact, he is the number one person who would help Lisa's sick mother escape. He was also responsible for carrying Lisa's mother towards the destroyed temple that the latter used to frequent.
