After what Jennie did, rumors about Cindy Hao and Lisa's relationship died down. Many people speculated that Lisa or maybe Jennie just paid the media to remove the news. However, if Lisa and Jennie paid the websites, why is it that they did not include all the news about Jennie's background and achievement?
After the articles, clips of Jennie's statement about women's empowerment turned up on social media. This immediately gained the approval of a lot of women. This boosted not only Jennie's popularity to the working women. It also increased people's awareness of her company. Overnight, the price of Facci Group's shares increased as many people scrutinized and ended up investing in the company.
"What a brilliant business strategy!" Dae Un beamed. She took a sip of her coffee and eyed the view from the floor to ceiling window of her husband's office. "Now... everyone knows that you are married to Lisa. Facci Group and LM Capital's future is very promising. Wu Ye... you should invest more in the company."
"I already did." Wu Ye answered as he continued to read the paperwork on his table. "I knew this will happen." He uttered. It wasn't even a week yet and Jennie's name already grazed a lot of entertainment news and gossip magazines. This boosted her popularity in Korea.
"Is Lisa taking care of you?" Dae Un frowned as she eyed Jennie. "You seemed to lose a little weight. Is he not cooking food? Is he always staying in his office?" The Dae Un now was the exact opposite of the woman whom Jennie met just a weeks back. This woman seemed to smile more and more bubbly compared to the last time that she talked to them.
"It might be because of the weather. I am feeling horrible lately. Lisa had been busy with work, but he always takes care of me." Jennie responded with a smile. "Please don't worry."
"Did you drink the supplements that I gave you? Tell me once you ran out, so I can ask my people to get you more." Dae Un sighed. "Now that you are taking a break, you should get more rest and eat healthier food. I heard that Lisa hired someone from the orphanage to cook for you?"
"Hmmm... He is the Chef from the orphanage." Jennie nodded. She could feel Dae Un's sincerity and concern towards her. And to be honest, this is making her feel happy. Jennie always wonder if this is how it feels to have a mother that dotes on you. "I am also learning some martial arts with Lisa. That might be the reason why it looks like I am losing weight when I am only gaining more muscles."
Another sighed escaped Dae Un's lips. "I wish we live next to each other so I could just take care of you and Lisa."
"Dae Un... stop being dramatic." Wu Ye said. "Why would you live near your son's house? Do you want to disturb a newly married couple?"
Dae Un rolled her eyes in response. She looked at Jennie, who was laughing from Wu Ye's words. "I promise you. I will not disturb you and Lisa."
"Actually, you can visit us whenever you want," Jennie answered. "We have enough rooms for both of you if you decide to visit us."
Dae Un immediately beamed at her words. "I think we should buy a property in Seoul just so we could prepare once Jennie gets pregnant." She looked at her husband. "Jennie needed all the support that she could get."
However, before Wu Ye could respond, the door of his office was opened by Jintao.
"Wu Ye... we have a problem." Jintao's face was dark. He glanced at Jennie before he walked towards Wu Ye. After what happened with Lanying and his family, Wu Ye still decided to hire him as his VP. Because of this, Jintao had actually grown closer to his cousin.
"What is it?" Wu Ye asked, his brows furrowed.
"Isaac Lee." Jintao's words immediately captured both Dae Un and Jennie's attention. Seeing this, Jintao continued. "The senile old man is kneeling outside of the building. He said he won't stand up until Dae Un forgives him."
