As expected, Jennie's words instantly made Old Man Kim more confused. What is she saying? He looked at Hao with a raised eyebrow and the latter instantly pretended to text someone as if he was trying to get background information of Jennie.

"Well... as you said, that is not the point here," Yifei said with her signature gentle smile. "We are family so the past should just be left in the past. We should stop talking about these things or Hongjoong's effort to prepare us this scrumptious dinner will go to waste," she said, earning an approving nod from Kai and Hao. However, others such as Chuan was still frozen while Nancy was sending daggers at Jennie.

"As usual, Yifei is the most sensible one," Old Man Kim praised Yifei, however, his eyes were still glued on Jennie. Her resemblance to Taehyung and Chuan's weird reaction told him that something else is going on here. "I have never met you before," he stated. He knew that Won-Young had a daughter from a mistress but he didn't have much information about her. "You look very familiar. May I have the name of your mother?"

"I don't really think that's important Father," Hao butted in. "We are here to enjoy ourselves and clearly her presence had ruined Hongjoong and Nancy's mood. Why don't we all go to the study to talk and we leave the women here to enjoy the entertainment that Hongjoong had prepared for everyone?"

"Why don't you let me answer his question Mr. Kim?" Jennie said. "Are you afraid of something?"

"You- What kind of woman would talk to an elder like this?" Hao chided, in an attempt to change the topic. He could not let his father know that Taehyung has a twin. "I am still your elder and you are from the Kim Family. No matter what, you are still expected to show your respect. And the fact that you are an illegitimate child does not exempt you from this rule."

"Well..." Jennie tilted her head and ignored Hao who was berating her. She looked straight into Old Man Kim's eyes and said, "Okay." Jennie smiled. "Point taken. I shall continue to let everyone think that I am a daughter of a mistress even when we already know that I am not. Isn't that right... Old Man Kim?"

"You-" Hao was speechless while Nancy and Hongjoong's temper instantly spiked.

"What do you mean by that?" Hongjoong asked. "Your mother was my father's mistress! Stop being shameless!"

"What a shameless woman. I believe removing her from the registry was the right thing to do," Hao added, while hoping that his father would forget Jennie's words. However, just who was Old Man Kim? He was not only a businessman but he was also in the military for a long time in his youth. He is not as gullible as everyone thought him to be.

However, Old Man Kim remained silent as he stared at Jennie intently. This woman is the exact replica of Bec Facci and even he could not deny that. A sudden shiver run down Old Man Kim's spine as he shifted his gaze towards the silent Chuan. Until now, the latter did not show any expression on his face other than staring blankly at Jennie.

Was the Old Man really that dumb that he couldn't guess what was going on?

No. He already had his suspicions a long time ago. However, he had no way to confirm this until now.

"I guess this dinner is pretty much over?" Jennie smiled at the old man before she shifted her gaze to Hao then to Yifei. "I mean...Did you get my point? You must be pretty dumb or else... how could a woman manipulate you all these years? So I want to make sure that you get it or I will have to force fed it to you myself."

"What do you mean?" Old Man Kim asked while gesturing with his hand to stop Hao from butting in again.

"What do you mean by that?" This time it was Yifei. Her eyes were already teary as she stared at Jennie. "Are you saying that I am the one who is manipulating them?"
