Sehun's eyes widened even more. "Did you have to say that?!" he asked, his serious façade was nowhere to be found. This woman is so shameless!
"I am telling the truth," Jennie shrugged, inwardly she was already laughing at the man's reaction. "What's wrong Master Oh... We are adults - and I am not the type to lie to someone just to make them feel better."
"You- "
"Don't worry so much about your friend, Master Oh. Why are you treating him like a damsel in distress? Do you really see me as such a ruthless person that I would break his fragile heart?"
Sehun did not answer. How could he tell Jennie that losing her would make Lisa go insane? "When... when we found out that you'd disappeared years ago, Lisa changed," he said. "The Lisa that you see now was his previous... self. Before you disappeared."
"I am happy for my friend. I have seen him at his lowest point, and I don't want him to experience losing you again. I know you are smart enough to understand this," he added before he lowered his head. "I hope this conversation will not reach his ears."
His words instantly earned a scoff from Jennie. "I have stopped keeping secrets from him, Master Oh. He will know this and he will feel thankful to have a brother like you." Jennie then rose from her seat and looked towards the LM Capital's building. "If you think that I will use him for revenge, you are wrong. I have stopped relying on just anyone to get things done, Master Oh. You can trust me on that.
"However, just lately, I have come to realize that he is not 'just anyone'. He is mine, and I am looking forward to spending my whole life with him." Silence followed her words as Jennie continued to stare in the direction of LM Capital.
After a few minutes, Jennie heard Sehun sigh. "So, what are you planning to do now?" he asked.
"Why are you asking me? I am not your boss," Jennie laughed.
"Yeah... well... you are the Boss of my Boss. It is only right to ask you this question." His words instantly made Jennie laugh, creating a light atmosphere between the two.
"He Xinlan... is somewhere near. A feud between her two daughters will lure her out."
"You are trying to hit her only weakness. This is a pretty obvious move don't you think?" he asked.
"Actually, that was Lisa's plan." Jennie returned to her seat. "I don't like attacking from the front Master Oh. That's too predictable. Your friend is pretty bold and direct. His style is very different from mine."
"That's because you love to trick people," Sehun spelled it out for her.
"Lisa's plans involve kidnapping He Xinlan and torturing the information out of her," Jennie continued. "I hate blood and I am too lazy for that, so I suggested making her come to me instead."
"Alexandra and Alessandra will be the decoys," Sehun said as the realization hit him.
"Smart," Jennie smiled. "Now... I still have a lot of things to do, Master Oh. "
"Will you not tell me? Ah... I will ask Lisa instead."
"He won't tell you either," Jennie said as she arched a brow. "Or did you forget that I am the Boss of your Boss?"
"Makes sense... so why don't you tell me instead? You hate blood... does that mean that you could kill her without spilling any blood? How will you do that? Strangle her.. or you could..."
"Master Oh is truly brutal," Jennie interrupted him. "Death is too easy, I don't like that."
"So?"
