Jennie instantly narrowed her eyes at Yifei as she took another step towards her; their faces just inches away from each other. "So you wanted the Kim Family to suffer," she stated. "What about my family? Yifei? Did you just unintentionally ruin mine to have what you want?"

"Everyone in the Kim Family does not deserve to be happy," she answered in a low voice that Jennie does not recognize. "You and your brother... your father and mother and everyone with the Kim bloodline deserve to suffer."

"You are pathetic," Jennie sneered. "If you think you have won just because you were able to use someone around me... then you are wrong," she said. She had truly underestimated Yifei. "Your first mistake is thinking that I care about Taehyung. Your second .."

"Please... spare me the bullshit," Yifei interrupted Jennie. "If you don't care about him then you wouldn't have given him a chance. You wouldn't have let him into your turf and even asked your men to treat him well. You lost Jennie. And you know that."

Seeing Jennie just smile at her, Yifei continued to taunt her. "Taehyung is unstable. He is the easiest one to control. If you take away his candy, he will surely lash out on you. He might even kill you. Can you imagine that? A brother and a sister... trying to kill each other. That would be tragic.... Right?"

"And you think I don't have the guts to kill him?" Jennie scoffed. Everything around them seemed to have blurred as they locked on to each other, ignoring everyone surrounding them. "He is but a stranger to me. A stranger with the same face."

"Really Jennie? Do you have the heart to kill the only blood related person that you have left?" She faked a look of horror, making everyone think that Jennie said something horrible to her. "Would you be able to carry the guilt of killing your brother forever?"

Yifei's plan was actually simple- very simple. In fact, she came up with this one with her eyes closed. Was it her fault that Jennie is weak? Was it her fault that everyone around her was easy to manipulate? No... She was smart and she was born to succeed in everything that she does. Including... killing people. "Admit it. You lost... and you will never win against me. If you do that... I might pity you and not kill you and your husband."

"How bold," Jennie noted before she chuckled. "If you think you won... then think again. You might be hallucinating."

"You are really..."

However, Yifei's words were interrupted when she saw Hao approached them with an angry expression on his face. "How dare you!" he yelled at Jennie as he raised his hand to slap her.

However, before his hand could even touch Jennie's cheeks, someone suddenly grabbed his hand, and threw him to the floor. "Try it one more time and I will burn you alive with everyone that you love," a cold voice echoed, making Jennie flinched in surprise. This was her first time seeing her own husband's anger.

"Are you alright?" Lisa turned around and looked at Jennie.

"I am. Thank you for protecting me." Though she was sure that she could have avoided that slap, she was still thankful at his gesture. "Is it done?" she asked.

"It is," he nodded. "We should go now."

Jennie did not answer him. Instead she looked at Yifei as her lips lifted into a sinister smile. "You surprised me," she said. "However... let me tell you something. Overconfidence will ruin you just like how it will ruin your plans today."

It was Yifei's turn to narrow her eyes at Jennie. Why would Hao try to slap Jennie? Why was he so angry? The only thing that could make Hao lashed out like that is...if anything happened to his business and his daughter. What could have happened?
