Chapter 1 - The beginning

A/N: if you have read my other book (Tommyinnit x oc) then a lot of this will be the same as that in this chapter just in Cordelia's POV not Lea's

*Cordelia's POV*

Sitting at home waiting for your sister isn't the funnest thing in the world, but yet here I am. I have no clue what could be taking her so long, she should have been here like half an hour ago, and Lea is not one to be late.

"I'm home!" I heard Lea's voice yell, I got up and walked down the stairs.

"Girl, what took you so long? I was starting to think you ditched me!" I said, giving her a hug.

This is my 16 year old sister, Leanna. She can be really annoying and has a bit of a bad habit of swearing but i love her. She is very energetic, unlike me who sits at home all day and reads books. We've always been together.

When I was 7 and Leanna was 1 we were adopted. We were found by Mary and Lester, a newly wedded couple who took us in. When they found us we had no memory, well, I had no memory, Leanna was still a baby. They tried to help us find our parents but no one knew who or where they might be, so they adopted me and Lea (Leanna).

Mary and Lester may not be our biological parents but we still love them as our own. Although I do sometimes wish I remembered my actual parents.

"Girl do I have some tea to spilllllll" Lea said excitedly. I squealed and dragged her to our shared bedroom.

We sat on Lea's bed together as she told me about how she saved a boy's life in the woods. "Was he cute?" I asked.

"What? Oh My God piss off!"

"Okay I don't think we should tell Mary and Lester, I don't think they would like it," I said after we calmed down.

"yeah I think we should wait to tell them, they have a heart attack!" We laughed again.

"Where are Mary and Lester anyway?" Lea asked, "I don't remember them replying to me when I got home."

"Oh yeah! Mary is staying a little longer at the shop, she said something about finishing two very important dresses so she's staying a little longer and Lester is also staying behind to help." I said lying back on the bed. "I don't know whats so important about the dresses but they might be for some really rich person who wants them done soon."

A/N: Mary and Lester are tailors and they own their own shop and are decently wealthy and don't struggle with money, most of the townspeople go there when there's a ball to get their dress/suit.

"Well actually there is more to the story" Lea said, also lying down.

"What?" I asked. She proceeded to tell me about how it turns out that Tommy was actually Prince Thomas.

"Girl! Oh my god! I see you, I see you! You're going for the prince's pop off!" I yelled.

"Shut up! Oh my god, I can't with you," She said, putting her hands on her face.

"That's probably why Mary and Lester are staying behind because it's Prince Thomas' birthday in two days," Lea said sitting up.

"Yeah that's why," I said, also sitting up. We spent the rest of the night talking before having dinner and going to sleep.
