Chapter 24 - Carriage ride

*Third person POV*

Previously.....

"So.... Poor Wilbur huh?" Cordelia said, breaking the silence.....

"Yeah, I can't imagine having to marry someone I didn't want to," Techno replied, in his monotone voice.

"I wonder how Claire's holding up," Cordelia said, mostly to herself.

"Probably not great," Techno replied, his voice low.

"I just hope Wilbur at least gets to marry someone nice," Cordelia said, grimacing slightly at the thought of marrying someone mean.

"Yeah, it would be like me marrying you," Techno said, looking out the window.

"Oi!" Cordelia said, leaning forward and punching Techno's arm. But sadly God was a shipper of 'Technodelia' and decided that in that moment he would push them a little closer.

Suddenly, the carriage went over a bump causing Cordelia, who was lent over, to fall forward onto Techno's chest. He wrapped his arms around her to stop her from falling and the two ended up rolling off the seat onto the floor.

Techno had his arms around Cordelia's waist, holding her to his chest to make sure that when they fell she didn't get hurt. He sort of just layed there, not sure what to do.

"Umm Techno? You can let go of me," Cordelia said, almost too quiet for Techno to hear.

"Shit- right- sorry," Techno said, letting go of Cordelia, feeling very awkward. Cordelia pushed herself up slightly, so she was now looking down at Techno. Once again, the carriage went over a bump causing Cordelia to fall back down but this time she caught herself just above Techno, now face to face, feeling each other's breath on their faces.

Techno stared up at Cordelia, admiring her face, staring deep into her blue eyes. They were the bluest eyes he had ever seen and could get lost in them for hours.

Cordelia was staring into Techno's red eyes. Most people found them scary, a curse, but she found them beautiful. Cordelia's face started to heat up when she saw Techno's eyes dart down to look at her lips for a second. Techno didn't mean to do it, he just did.

"Uhh-" Techno muttered out, sitting up slightly, resting on one of his elbows so he could prop himself up. Cordelia sat up with him, their faces still extremely close, they were practically kissing.

Cordelia had her hands on Techno's chest for stability since she could no longer reach the floor without her being in a very awkward position.

(Can you guess what happens next?)

(They go over another carriage bump)

Suddenly they went over another bump. This caused Techno and Cordelia's lips to brush against each other..... Well not brush, more slam together "on accident".

They both quickly shoved each other off and went to other sides of the carriage staring at each other. "We both agree this never happened right?" Cordelia said.

Techno nodded, not being able to get words out. They both sat back down, not saying a word or looking at each other. After that the carriage ride was full of so much tension, you could cut it with a knife.

<Time skip>

Techno and Cordelia walked out of the carriage in silence, not looking at each other. Ana and Aldrich wondered if they maybe pushed them to much, or that something bad happened. Needless to say, they were worried.

They all made their way into the castle, getting a few stares because the king and queen of the water kingdom were here. Techno led them to the dining hall because it was around the time they would have dinner and when they got there Philza stood up in surprise.

"Ana! Aldrich! What a surprise! How are you?" Phil asked getting up from his chair and walked over to Ana and Aldrich to give them a hug.

"Philza, we have news," Ana said, and Phil's face went serious.

"Is it bad?"

"Our daughters... they're alive," Aldrich said, and Phil gasped.

"Really?! That's amazing! Do you know where they are?" Phil asked, smiling.

"Well, one's in this room," Ana said and Phil's eyebrows knitted together in confusion.

"What? But there's only Cordeli- no..... Really?" Phil said, staring at Cordelia.

"Yup," Aldrich said, holding out his han for Cordelia and she walked over smiling shyly.

"WAIT!" Tommy yelled and everyone stared at him. "Do that mean.... Lea....?"

"Yes, that's why we came here," Cordelia said, and Tommy's eyes widened.

"Tommy, go get Lea," Phil commanded.

"Wha-? Wouldn't it be better for us to go to her? Or a guard to g-"

"Tommy, you've got super speed," Wilbur reminded him and Tommy made and 'oh' face before speeding out the room causing everyone's hair to fly around by the gust of wind he created.

(Flash vibes)

Soon, Tommy came in with a very scared looking Lea in his arms. He placed her down gently and she held onto him for balance. Running with Tommy for the first time isn't fun, Wilbur, Techno and Phil all knew that.

"What's going on? Am I in trouble? Tommy just said it was important- Cory! Your back! Oh- and the king and queen of the water kingdom? Oh- um-, your majes-" Lea said, starting to bow, but she was cut off by Ana and Aldrich giving her a tight hug.

Lea was very confused to say the least.

Sorry for the late update

I Went to my batch that has no wifi, then when I got back I got sick, then I had a wedding to go to. I've been busy.

I also had my birthday a week ago!

Honestly, every time I say I'm gonna update lost, I always do the opposite.
