Cordelia saves the kings life and is asked to join the royal guard. She is excited until she meets the one and only Prince Technoblade. The two can't stand each other but when they get sent on a mission together things become different.

*Cordelia's POV*
Me and Lea woke up the next morning super hyped for tonight. The day went by quickly (lucky for us because damn are we impatient.) Before we knew it, it was time to start getting ready for the ball. Lea went to get changed in Mary and Lester's room so I could change in our room. Once I put on the dress I looked at myself in the mirror.

I had my hair out so it fell down the back of my dress, it complimented my hair and eyes perfectly. I walked out of my room to see Lea standing there. She looked amazing! Her baby blue hair matched her baby pink dress perfectly. Lea's hair went down past her shoulders, and ended around the middle of her chest, her hair wasn't quite as long as mine but it was beautiful nonetheless.

I was so proud of her. She has grown up to be so beautiful. "Wow! Cordelia, you look amazing!" Lea said, looking at me.
"Me!? Look at you! You're beautiful! You've grown up so much!" I went and gave her a hug, I pulled back to admire her once more before we walked down stairs.
*Gasp* "Aww, both my girls have grown up so much!" Mary said, pulling up both into a hug.
"You girls look beautiful." Lester said, looking between me and Lea. After a few tears and Compliments, me and Lea opened the front door to get to our carriage.
"Now please be careful at the Ball! I don't want anything bad happening! Aww you girls look gorgeous!" Mary said before we got in the carriage. "Stay safe!" Mary yelled as the carriage took off to the Ball.
Me and Lea couldn't help but let out a little squeal. After thanking the carriage driver and the foot man we were walking up the stairs to the Ball.

*Cordelia's POV*
Me and Lea have just finished dancing and she looks like she is having the time of her life. I was enjoying myself but I needed a break from all the chaos, I never was much of a social person. Just as I was about to go outside the music stopped and trumpets started. Everyone's eyes went over to the royal family that were descending down the stairs.
I looked over at Lea who was communicating with Tommy from the other side of the room. It was funny to look between the two and see them try not to laugh as Lea made faces at him. I let out a small chuckle. Once the music started and everyone went back to what they were doing, I snuck out to the garden. Looking around I was in awe at how beautiful it was.
I looked around and to my horror I saw a person getting dragged away but three men. Thinking fast I ran over and punched one of the men in the face. He let go of the man's right arm in pain and I hit him one more time knocking him out.
Swinging a roundhouse kick behind me I knocked out the second man and I turned to the third man. Even though I was wearing a freaking ball gown I was nailing this. I kneed the third man in the crotch and punched him in the face when he doubled over in pain.
I heard footsteps behind me and turning around I saw that one of the men had gotten up and was running at me with a sword. I quickly dodged him and kneed him in the stomach and grabbed the sword out of his hand. I looked up to see the first man coming at me with a sword.
After having a sword fight with him, which I dominated, I got his sword and elbowed him in the face, knocking him out for real this time. The third man came at me with another sword so I fought him as well.
I huffed a little and looked around to make sure that all the men were knocked out before going to the man who was being kidnapped. "Are u okay sir? Are you hurt?" I asked for help.
"Thank you for saving my life, I owe you a debt of gratitude, And don't worry thanks to you, I'm okay," The man said smiling. When I made eye contact I then realized that the man I had just saved was King Philza, as in the King of the air kingdom.
"Oh my- umm- your the King- uhhh, Your majesty," I said bowing.
"Please, you don't need to bow, seeing as you saved my life. But I must ask, where did you learn to fight like that?" King Philza asked.
"Oh- um- I'm self taught. I've been fighting when I was 8 and just practiced a lot and taught myself," I said smiling and helping King Philza over to the palace.
"What is your name?" He asked.
"My name is Cordelia, but I just go by Cory," I replied.
"Well, Cordelia, what would you think of joining the royal guard. You are a very skilled fighter and we need more people like you," King Philza. My eyes widened. I can't believe I had just been privately asked by the King of the air kingdom to join the royal guard.
"Oh- wow- I would be honored! But isn't it not a normal thing for women to join the guard?" I asked, hardly believing what had just happened.
"Well that's good and yes it is uncommon for women to join the guard but it has happened before. Don't worry though, you'll fit right in," King Philza smiled.
Once I helped him get to the physician, I was directed by a guard to a room where My measurements were taken for armor and I went through a bunch of procedures to be a part of the royal guard. When that was done it was already very late and I went and got Lea to go home.
