Chapter 14 - on the road again

*Third person POV*

The next morning Cory and Techno woke up at dawn to get on the road early. They packed up their stuff and started their ride to the water kingdom.

The two stayed silent as they rode along. They were both super awkward about what happened the other night.

Cordelia decided to break the silence with a question, "How long should it take for us to get to the water kingdom?"

"If we take minimum breaks and ride at a decent pace we can be there tonight. But we don't need to rush so if we get there tonight we will be lucky," Techno said looking down at the map in his hand.

"Okay soooo... should we try and get for tonight orrrr...?" Cory asked.

"Umm I think it will be better if we take our time and not rush. We will set up camp somewhere," Techno said.

<Time skip>

Techno and Cordelia made it to a small town and decided to stay the night. Once they were in their room they sat down on their beds and stayed silent.

"Hey, umm I heard that this town is well known for the clubs here, I was thinking about going out tonight to celebrate. I just thought I should let you know in case you wanted to come, but I mean you probably don't wan-" Cory was cut off.

"Yeah sure, I'll come," Techno said, getting up off his bed. Cory was a little shocked that he said yes but got up nonetheless. She went up to her bag and looked through her outfits.

"Hey make sure to wear something nice, you can just wear what you wore before if you want it doesn't really matter," Cory said looking through her bag.

"Okay," He replied, going into the bathroom to change. Pulling out a nice outfit, she turned her head when the bathroom door opened revealing Techno in the same thing he wore to the 'Red Rhino'.

Standing up, Cory walked past Techno and into the bathroom. After getting changed she got out her makeup and did the same look as she did before.

Techno turned around when Cory opened the bathroom door. He nodded awkwardly at her and the look on his face said, 'Nice'. They finished getting ready and once they were ready they left.

"So... where are we going exactly?" Techno asked as the two walked down the street.

"Well there are several places we can go but apparently 'The Silver Fox' is the best place to go," Cory said, continuing to walk.

"What is it with clubs being named after colour animals?" Techno asked, shaking his head.

(Because the author can't name shit)

"I.... don't know?" Cory chuckled and Techno smiled slightly. The two walked in silence with the occasional snarky comment between them. They rounded a corner and there it was. The Silver Fox.
