Cordelia saves the kings life and is asked to join the royal guard. She is excited until she meets the one and only Prince Technoblade. The two can't stand each other but when they get sent on a mission together things become different.

It has been a great week of training for Cordelia but the only problem was Technoblade. Every time they bumped into each other their conversation wasn't great.
They both hated each other. Cordelia didn't give 2 fucks that he was a Prince and Technoblade was mad because his father liked her and refused to get rid of her.
Here is one of the many arguments they have had:

"Hey! Watch it!" Techno yelled as Cory bumped into him.
"Me?! You bumped into me, you royal ass!" Cory retaliated.
"You can not address me like that!" Techno yelled, facing Cory.
"Oh yeah? I just did," She said, flipping her hair and walking away. Techno scoffed, flipping his pink plait over his shoulder and stomping away.

Today was Friday and the end of Cordelia's first week of training. As she walked through the doors of the training arena there was something different about the atmosphere.
"Hey Ray, Ethan, what's going on?" Cordelia asked, sitting next to them.
"Oh right! Today is Friday, right? Yeah it is. So every month we have a game where we compete against each other as a fun little competition, you know? It's basically just to see who the top trainee is. The winner then VS the force captain, or as we know him Technoblade. No one has ever one against him or even gotten close to it let alone survive more than 2 minutes. But it's all a fun and friendly matter, so don't worry," Ray replied excitedly.
"Yeah it's a bunch of fun. trust me, you'll love it," Ethan said putting his hand on Cory's shoulder. Cory smiled at him and then in came Technoblade. Ugh, Cory thought before she rolled her eyes at him and rolled his back.
"Alright, it's Friday and you all know what that means.... Well except for Cordelia-"
"Oh no Ray and Ethan explained it to me so there's no need for that just to continue," Cordelia butted in before he could continue.
Techno sneered at her and she sneered back. Once Techno had paired up all the opponents we all went and got our weapon of choice.
Cordelia grabbed the sword Lester had made specially for her and held it in her hand. She looked around at all the other people and saw all their weapons. Cordelia's sword was a lot nicer then there's, it had more colour and matched her well.
All the other knights in training had boring silver swords that all looked the same but Cordelia's was very unique.

"You know, I still think it's unfair that your sword is so much cooler than ours," Ray said, looking between His sword and Cory's.
"Hey mate it ain't my fault that I have amazing guardians that made my sword specially for me," Cory said, flipping her hair jokingly.
"Okay up first we have Carter vs Cordelia," Technoblade read out as he picked out two names from a bowl.
Cordelia and Carter walked into the arena and got into their fighting stance. Carter lifted up his sword and smirked at Cordelia.
"Fight when ready," Techno said.
Cordelia's face remained emotionless as she held her sword up and crouched down putting her other hand on the ground.
Carter didn't understand what she was doing and had a confused look on his face. "What on earth is that stance?!" He yelled, laughing at Cordelia.
"Like man I knew I was going to thrash you but damn are you trying to make yourself lose? I knew it was a mistake letting a girl join the royal guard," Carter laughed.
Cordelia snapped and sped at Carter. She punched him in the square in the face. He was taken aback and started to fall, Cordelia thought fast and kicked him with her foot.
Spinning around she kicked him right in the face knocking him out.
Cordelia walked out of the arena emotionless and everyone just stared at her.
"That was bad ass!" Ray yelled. Cordelia just nodded, not saying a word. She was pissed at Carter for being a sexist prick.
The fights went on and Cordelia dominated all of them. Her rage from the first round had pushed her through all of the other fights. And once she won the final one everyone was shocked.
None of them wanted to admit it, but they weren't happy that they were all beaten by a girl. When they first met her they were all sceptical but none of them said anything because she was recruited by the King himself so....
But now they were seeing her in action they all understood why King Philza recruited her. She was a skilled fighter and amazing with a sword.
They were pretty excited to see her VS Technoblade because she seemed like she might have a chance.
Technoblade and Cordelia entered the arena and stared each other down. They circled each other, not breaking eye contact until Techno suddenly launched himself at Cordelia.
Thinking fast she did a back handspring away from him. This went on for 2 minutes, Techno attacking Cordelia and her dodging.
But then Techno landed a hit on her and this threw off her ruthenium and he now had the upper hand. Well at least that's what he thought.
After about 3 minutes Techno was standing over Cordelia with his sword pointing at her throat. "Give up. you lost. Face it," he said a little out of breath.
"Ha ha, oh Technoblade, sweet naive, Technoblade," Cordelia said, still sitting on the ground. She threw her head back and laughed.
"What's so funny!" Techno yelled through gritted teeth
Cordelia smiled before suddenly kicking her leg up and knocking his sword away from her and doing a back walkover to get up.
(I hope that made sense)
"You see Technoblade, as a woman, no matter how hard I train, men will always be physically stronger than me. So instead of using brute force like men, I sit back and observe. I learn there fighting style, and once I know it, I use there strength against them. Now I know your fighting strategy, this fight is more even," Cordelia said before launching herself at Techno.
Techno got ready to block but suddenly she switched direction and spun round him and hit him in the back. After that she kicked him in the back of the head.
Technoblade would be lying if he said he wasn't surprised by this. He spun round and their sword clashed together.
They fought for a while but to Techno's surprise he wasn't doing very well. Cordelia was skilled with a sword and adding her nimbleness made it hard to hit her.
The fight ended when they both had their swords against each other's throats staring each other down.
"Truce," They both said at the same time, taking their swords down. With their faces still inches apart staring at each other, until Technoblade turned away and stormed off.
Everyone went insane and all surrounded her. "Dude! I knew you were a good fighter but damn girl!" Ray said, punching Cory's arm playfully.
"I can't believe you almost beat Prince Technoblade, the blood god, the best fighter in all of the air kingdom!" Ethan yelled.
After everyone congratulated Cory they all went home for the day. Cory had a great story to tell at dinner today.
