Cordelia saves the kings life and is asked to join the royal guard. She is excited until she meets the one and only Prince Technoblade. The two can't stand each other but when they get sent on a mission together things become different.

I was on my way to the throne room because apparently my father wants to see me. I pushed my way through the doors and walked up to my dad who was sitting on his throne looking through some work.
"Ah! Techno, good you came," He said, putting his work to the side.
"Yes, is there something you need?" I asked.
"Well tomorrow all of the family is having tea together and Wilbur is bring Claire and Tommy is bringing Lea and I want you to bring someone as well," Phila said looking at me.
"Can't I just go alone?" I asked, groaning.
"I thought you would say that, so I took the liberty of inviting Cordelia on your behalf," He said with a smirk on his face.
"WHAT!? Why her! Anyone but her! Literally anyone!" I yelled.
"Nope. already decided," Phil said, picking his work back up.
"But-"
"No buts, Cordelia is a lovely young woman and is Lea's older sister, so she is coming. She is in the Royal guard techno, you're going to have to get along with her. Now, I don't want to hear any more complaints," He said, staring at me before going back to his work.
I brought up my hand and opened my mouth to speak but I stopped myself. I let out a huff of annoyance and left slamming the door behind me.
<Timeskip> Tomorrow
I straightened my white collared shirt in the mirror and picked up my red gown putting it on. I flicked my pink plait over my shoulder and walked out my bedroom door.
On my way to the garden I bumped into someone knocking them over. I looked down to see Cordelia sitting on the floor. I rolled my eyes and held out my hand on her.
"I can get up perfectly fine thank you," She said, hitting my hand away. Once she got up she dusted herself off. I couldn't help but notice her dress. I don't like to admit it but she looks nice.

We walked to the garden arguing back and forth but once I opened the door to the garden I saw everyone sitting at the table waiting for us. As we walked up to the rotunda I whispered to Cordelia.

"Shut up, let's just try and get along for today okay?!" I whisper shouted to Cordelia. She grunted and turned away from me. We went and sat down and sadly I had to sit next to her.

"Now that we're all here, does anyone want some tea?" My Mother said, smiling around the table. There was a trail of 'yes please's and some servant came round and poured everyone tea with their choice of sugar and milk.
"So Cordelia, how is it going with knight training? It must be hard being the only girl," My mother started the conversation.
"Oh yes, I'm loving it. It was a little hard at first but once all the guys got used to me and I showed them who's boss, they warmed up to me," Cordelia said, chuckling a little. I rolled my eyes at her and sipped my tea.
"How about you Lea? Are you much of a fighter?" Phil asked, biting into a biscuit.
'Well yes, but not as much as Cory, she taught me self defense but not much else. I'm more into other things," Lea said, taking a sip of tea.
"Like what?" My mum asked.
"Well, I love ice skating. I do it in the winter when the lakes freeze over but it's too warm at the moment so I mostly just paint or draw," She replied smiling.
"Oh wow! That's cool, I would love to see you on the ice some time. What about you Claire? I heard from Wilbur that you're an amazing singer," My mum said, turning to Claire
"Oh um yeah I like music but I wouldn't say I'm an amazing singer, Wilbur however has got a great voice," She said, smiling over at Wilbur.
"Oh no, her voice is the voice of an angel, I swear it's amazing," Wilbur said, nodding. Claire lightly shoved his shoulder and he chuckled.
The day was a nightmare. Me and Cordelia tried to get along but the amount of times I nearly snapped was too many to count. When we were dismissed, me and Cordelia instantly got up and walked out.
When I shut the door behind us I turned to Cordelia and scowled at her, and she sneered back. We went our separate ways and boy was I glad I didn't have to see her face anymore.
