Chapter 16 - Ambushed

*Cordelia's POV*

Ughhh. My head huuurts.... I felt something wrapped around my body and I couldn't move. I tried to push myself up but was restricted by the things wrapped around me.

My eyes fluttered open and I was met with something white. I looked up and saw Techno's sleeping face. My eyes widened. Why am I sleeping in the same bed as Technoblade! I thought.

He started to stir and I panicked. "Ugh," he mumbled.

"Techno, Techno, wake up. Let me go. How on earth did I end up here!" I said as Techno came into consequence.

As soon as Techno realized what was happening he let go of me and I sat at the end of the bed with a concerned look on my face.

"Your um- your drink got spiked and well you weren't exactly-"

"Wait! Oh my god, we didn't-" I said, gesturing between us. Techno's eyes widened when he realized what I meant.

"Oh god no! You, in your drunk state, wanted me to sleep next to you and well yeah," Techno said, getting out of my bed.

"Oh oka- wait, then why do you have red lipstick on your fac- oh my god, I kissed you didn't I..." I said putting my head in my hands, disappointed in myself.

"Yeah... you did... I can't believe this stuff is still on my face. Can I have one of your makeup wipes- or whatever they're called?" Techno said and I went and fetched one.

"Okay, pack your stuff. We're leaving as soon as possible," Techno said, wiping off the lipstick.

We packed up all our stuff and once we were fully ready, we left. We were riding down the path and soon came up on a beautiful forest.

*Third person POV*

"Wow," Cordelia whispered, under her breath. She looked around at the forest and saw all the nature. It was so colourful compared to the forests around where she lives.

"It's so much more colourful than any of the forests I've seen!" Corddelia said, excitedly. She heard techno chuckle and when she looked over he was shaking his head.

"What's so funny!" Cordelia said, rather offended.

"Nothing, nothing. Have you never seen a magical forest before?" Techno asked.

"No, I haven't. I've only seen normal ones. I'm so glad I gotta see this," Cordelia said, admiring all of the beautiful colours, "have you seen one before?"

"Yeah. Many times on missions," Techno replied, also looking around.

"How long until we reach the water kingdom?" Cordelia asked.

"It's currently 9 o'clock sooooo..... We should be able to get to the kingdom byyyy 2 o'clock? Yeah, around then," Techno replied, looking at the map.

"That's good, only 5 hours of riding left," Cordelia said, still looking around at all the beautiful plants. "It's so... peaceful. This would be such a nice place to-" Cordelia was cut off sound of a twig snapping.

Both of them pulled to a halt and looked around. "Did you hear that?" Cordelia whispered.

"Yeah..." Techno whispered back. The both dismounted their horses and pulled out their swords keeping their guard up.

"It must have just been an animal. False alar-" Techno started before an arrow came out of the trees and zipped past his head.

Suddenly about 15 different men in armor came rushing out of the trees, swords in hand.
