Chapter 13

Red

"You're saying that you didn't marry an old man?!" Yash screeched.

Tumango ako suot ang blangkong mukha, kanina pa nila pinaulit-ulit iyang tanong. Inabot na kami ng hapon at mukhang aabutin pa nga ata hanggang bukas.

Nagsisimula na akong mairita. These bitches.

"Instead, you married the handsome guy we've met?! Sa restaurant? Iyong kung makatitig sa'yo ay parang nang-aangkin? Oh my goodness, you're so lucky!" Si Clary na mukhang mahihimatay pa.

"Oh shut up, he's not handsome at hindi ako maswerte sa kaniya!" tanggi ko.

"Really? Namumula ka, bitch?"

Sa inis ay tamad kong ipinadapo sa kaniyang ulo ang aking mabigat na palad. She just glared at me before caressing her hurt head.

"Bitch! Ang swerte mo! He's a Vallejo! Oh my gosh! Paypayan niyo ako!"

Napatakip kami ng tenga at sabay na sinamaan siya ng tingin.

"Manahimik ka nga Yash, you just realized it now? Kanina pa ako histerikal dito!" ani Clarita.

"Theseus 'fucking' Vallejo is your husband! Kung ako sa'yo magpapabuntis na ako agad!"

I gasped in disbelief. Do I look like I'm happy being married to that son of a cockroach?!

Okay! Medyo lang!

I mean. It's because I was expecting to be married to an old man. That's all! Hindi ako masaya dahil gusto ko siya! No never!

This is so stressing!

Why am I even explaining to myself? Argh.

"You know what bitches? Let's just party! How I missed partying." aya ko ngunit agad silang umiling.

My brows knotted. "Why? Come on–"

"Gaga ka, you're already married! Baka mapagalitan pa kami ng asawa mo–"

"What the hell? He doesn't care at all! Ayos lang kahit magdamag akong wala sa bahay, he won't care!"

Nagkatinginan sila. I can trace the disbelief in their faces. Totoo naman ang sinabi ko. I left in the house for hours, I didn't even received any text– yeah, we don't have each other's number. But, kahit naman siguro mayroon kamong numero ng isa't-isa. Wala parin iyong pakialam.

Which is a good news, I guess...

Kalaunan ay pumayag din ang dalawa. They keep on glancing at me, flashing their weird faces. Alam kong nag-aalala sila sa akin. Well, that's nonsense.

Why would they bother themselves to get worried at me?

Asawa.

Weird.

Annoying.

We're just married on papers! Why am I even calling him my husband, it's not real though.

"Party party!" biglang sigaw ni Clarita.

I smirked. "Party party!"

"I'll just get our drinks." ani Yash tapos ay bumaling sa akin. "You can't get drunk–"
