1) Dark Steve has a pet raven! His name is Hugin.
2) Speaking of ravens, they're Dark's favorite animals.
3) He tends to feed them a lot, when he got nothing else to do. He does that in front of the main entrance of Nightmares castle, which is why an abundance of ravens can be found around the palace at all times now.
4) Dark took the time to teach the tamest ones a few phrases. Now, if you approach the palace, you can faintly hear the ravens yell things like "Turn around!", "Leave!", "Your last Chance!", "Or you will suffer!" or "Run while you still can!" at you.
5) Nightmare isn't sure whether he likes that or not. He enjoys the ravens presence, because they give his home a much more sinister vibe, but he also hates them at the same time because of all the bird poo they leave behind. And also because, when he actually invites guests, they end up really scared of the black birds, once they arrive at the palace.
6) Dark is pretty proud of this accomplishment. Much to Nightmares dismay, who again, isn't sure how to feel about this.
