Nightmare Steve X Yellow! Reader (Don't Leave Me)

Ohayo!

Before we start, I need to make a few things clear.

Don't worry, beside this oneshot I'm currently working on:

So...

I was feeling strangely dramatic today, so I felt like writing something dramatic. Sorry to all the Nightmare Steve fans out there, you might want to get some tissues....

Also: I don't exactly bear much knowledge about the Steve Saga up until now, so please forgive me if I put any wrong things in here....

I don't know how to put this, but.... And, yes I know 'Yellow! Reader' sounds weird, but I decided to make the reader not human! You're supposed to be a Yellow Steve. The thing is... If you're female, what to do?

I usually go with 'Stevette' as a term for female Steves.... Weird. Again.

And before you scream at me in the comments, yes I know, that there's an Alex.... But I think her name was only Alex and not Origin Alex (which would be the equivalent to Origin Steve) and that made me think she's the only Alex. But like I said, I don't bear enough knowledge (aka I haven't watched until then...), so I'm not sure....

I am using 'Stevette' instead of 'Alex', because I think it's sounds more like 'Steve' (obviously). To me it feels more like they're one species amd not two, cauz' tbh, Steves and Alex' sounds like two different things to me....

But that's just my opinion and I'm just rambling at this point... I am not saying, that what I say is the right thing. You can call them whatever you like and it's not my right to tell you differently.

Wow, you read this unnecessary stuff until here? Thank you very much for your patience! I know this is probably the most unnecessary thing a human has ever written....

Situation:

You're a Yellow Steve/Stevette. Nightmare Steve happened to find you, when you were just a baby, abandoned by your parents.

Although one might think, he wouldn't care, Nightmare actually didn't have the heart to leave such a little, helpless thing to die. (Defeating his enemies, who fight back? No problem. An innocent baby? Totally different story.)

Ever since then, you were his secret. He took you in; he nicknamed you (Y/n); he raised you to be a beautiful, grown being; he taught you everything he knew; he protected you from any danger.... Heck, he would still do so today, if he had to!

But as you grew it became harder to keep your existence a secret, when Elemental Steve started controlling Nightmare's life especially....

One day, the inevitable happened. Elemental found out about you, and he was not happy with it. Seeing you as something that only weakened Nightmare, he wanted to get rid of you....
