Ohayo!

This may not be a request, but at least I'm updating something right? Also, I need to warn you, there will be graphic descriptions of violence, blood and death. Be warned, proceed with caution. When it comes to reading things on the interwebs: Be safe, not brave. ^^

Situation:

You are a Netherian soldier. That's right! You work for Herobrine, your king!
In this oneshot, Hero has a son called Josh, who's basically a mini version of Hero, except his hair is a way brighter brown. He is around 5 to 6 years old. Josh's mom died during one of the many wars, the Netherian kingdom fought, which is why Josh is basically Hero's everything...

Third person

The castle was under attack. Forces of an overworld kingdom started an invasion. They somehow found out where to place a portal in their dimension, so it would spew them out right in front of the grand bridge, leading across the lava lake to the palace.

It didn't look good for the Netherians. Their opponents were well prepared and came in massive numbers. The castle's walls were beginning to tumble down, due to explosions going off almost regularly.

Inside the castle was chaos. Soldiers and guards were running around, trying desperately to coordinate their defense. People got slaughtered mercilessly on both sides. The wounded and dying were crying out. Blood and bodies laid scattered across the many corridors and halls.

Amidst all that chaos, a caring father tried to lead his son to safety.

Herobrine and his son Josh were currently in the kings chambers. Drew, a skeleton and personal servant of Herobrine, was with them, assigned for one of the most important tasks.

Herobrine, who was wearing his dark amor and crown, growled slightly as he pushed a heavy piece of furniture aside, revealing a secret passageway.

He turned to his son. "Josh, you will have to go with Drew. He knows this passage and a safe way out of the castle."

Little Josh whined, clinging to his father, who had kneeled down to embrace him. "But papa! I don't wanna go! It's scary!"

The white eyed god gently stroked his son's hair. "It's gonna be okay. Drew is with you. He will make sure you stay safe."

His son sobbed into his shoulder. "W-what ab-bout you, papa?"

Herobrine sighed and whispered to Josh: "Don't worry about me, I will need to evacuate the castle. We'll meet outside, on the other side of the bridge. I promise."

Very reluctantly, the king let go of his heir and gently pushed him over to Drew, who was waiting at the tunnel's entry with a reassuring smile. The skeleton gently grabbed the child's hand.

"Come on now, young prince. We need to hurry."

"B-but papa!"

Herobrine gave a pained smile. "I'll be fine. Just go now. Go!"

Drew and his son hurried off through the secret passage and soon disappeared in the darkness. A painful sting flashed through the father's chest. Letting his son out of his sight during one of these situations was one of the worst things he could imagine. But he needed to stay in the castle a little longer. He couldn't hide away like a coward!

With a heavy sigh he moved the furniture back, so it would seal off the passage's entry again. Then he turned towards the door and summoned his obsidian sword.
