AU #2 (Forced Alliance)

Before we start, I just quickly wanted to say, that this AU is inspired by a smutshot/lemon I read. Yes, a lemon. XD 

It's written by SteveSagaFan and had a very similar background scenario going on. I really liked it and decided it's worth being turned into an AU!

It's only fair to say, that half of the credit for this idea goes to them! Go check their books out! :3

For: 

Steve Saga and Rainbow Quest would both technically work, although I think Steve Saga would fit better.

Idea: 

In this alternate universe Void Steve reveals himself much, much earlier. He utilizes the darkness's forces like an army to invade the Steve realm. And he's got a well thought through strategy. Coupled with a huge army of darkness... Yeah, that's pretty bad.

You'd think Void would use the other evil Steves as allies or pawns for his plans, but in this AU he doesn't think much of alliances. He only trusts himself and his darkness-marionettes. He is conquering the realm for himself and nobody else. ANYONE who dares to step in his way is bound to perish.

So Void Steve is essentially introducing a third party to the whole conflict between Nightmare and Rainbow.  A party so strong, that the other two groups cannot resist it alone. Which leaves them forced to form an alliance, in order not to get destroyed by the new forces immediately.

EVERY Steve, good and evil, now bands together into one organized group. A Resistance so to speak. The tatically smartest place to use as main base of operations would just so happen to be the Nightmare Palace. The resistance is also lead by both, the Nightmare King and Rainbow Steve, believe it or not.

Although, I can imagine Rainbow having troubles adjusting to his new role as a legitimate leader, which leads Nightmare to help and teach him a little on that front. Or another more dominant character jumps in as the second leader and Rain's mentor, like Sabre or the reader, if it's an reader insert story.

Also, the group would struggle with the first few days of setting up their defenses and tactics and stuff like who gets what role/task/etc. Everyone would also have to train, to become the best fighter they could possibly be. Under the instruction of the strongest Steves of course.

All good and evil Steves suddenly being thrown into the same pot would also lead to many intersting shenanigans- Ranging from funny, to embarrassing or even dead serious.

And while our resistance is struggling to establish itself, Void invades lone villages, that haven't noticed what's going on yet. He captures many Steves and infects them with the darkness, turning them into mindless tools for him to use as slaves, experiments or even spies.

So there will be a generally very tense atmosphere- And angst, possibly-

Possible Stories:

This could be a good set up for many dramatic stories, both romantic or just focused on the actual conflict!

You could write a good NightBow fanfiction with this. Or about any other ship, that you just want write some angsty story about! >:3

It would be the perfect setup for any ship, that otherwise would be hard to have it make sense. Whole new kinds of love triangles could exist!

This AU has quite the potential, just sayin'
