"Ohhh, gawd! It's sooooo cold!" I cried out at the furnance in front of me, that just stopped working.

Welp, why do I live in a snow biom anyway?

Ugh, I just spawned here a couple hours ago...

Sadly, there wasn't enough wood around for me to build a house, so I had to dig me a small room into a mountain's side.

The wood that I had got already burned in my furnance to keep me and this stone room warm, which was lit up by a single torch made of charcoal.

I didn't even had wool to craft a bed. Meaning I had to wait until morning, before I could go and look for more resources and maybe find a way out this biom...

I huffed. My breath formed clouds in front of my mouth as I sat in my cold corner, being annoyed by my situation.

As my teeth started to clatter, I decided I couldn't just sit here and freeze to death at my first night, so I got up and pulled my stone pick out of my inventory.

Movement should keep me warm.

I mined the furnance and packed it away.

After that I dug a hole in the wall next to me. I only removed one block to be able to look out into the night, in order to check if the coast was clear.

Underneath the starry sky laid the snowy plains. Peaceful. No mobs.

"Guess I can risk going outside. I mean it isn't much colder outside, than here in this room.", I mumbled to myself.

Deciding it was okay (because it would be better, than just sitting around and turning into an ice block), I took the torch from the wall and mined my way out.

I took a few steps out into the snowy plains, which were spreading widely in nearly every direction.

The snow gleamed slightly in the silver moonlight and a piercingly cold breeze hit my slim frame, making me shiver.

Brrr... That's not good!

With these thoughts I put my body into motion and started jogging into a random direction.

After a while I came across three trees, trying to form a pathetic excuse for a forest.

"Oh come on! Are you kidding me?!", I yelled at the trees. "When I needed you, you were nowhere to be seen! And now, when I need to move around and can't stop, cause I would freeze my butt off, you're just..... POP UP RANDOMLY?!!"

(Well that was random ^^')

"Ugh. I have to keep going."

After my pointless outbreak, I continued jogging around in the snow.

Like I hoped it would, it warmed me up. At least a little...

After 10 more minutes or so, I began to run out of breath. Huffing and puffing I trotted further nonetheless until I found...

A gigantic spruce forest. Covered in snow....

Hmmm, maybe I can seek some shelter between the tree trunks. And collect more wood?

I walked into the forest and admired the tall old trees, with their wide branches and dark leaves... Or needles?

The mixture of the dark trees and the bright snow was really pretty anyway.

Sadly I'm gonna chop one of them down...

I checked my inventory and got out a stone axe. Choosing a random spruce tree, I raised the axe over my shoulder and smacked it against the tree trunk.

All of a sudden an ARROW got shot into the tree trunk right beside my head. It's slim wooden shaft wiggeled up and down.

I froze dead in my tracks. A single droplet of sweat ran down my forehead. I slowy turned my head to glance at whatever was behind me.

A skeleton... A frigging, bone-clattering skeleton.

I gave it no second thought. Even though I was exhausted already, I turned on my heel and dashed into the opposite direction, leaving the rest of the tree floating in mid air.

Several other arrows flew past my ears, producing a whistle-like sound.

I heard the rattling of more skeletons coming from multiple directions. The groaning of zombies mixed into the sounds.

Oh, great! This can't get any worse!

The mobs chased me through nearly the entire forest. My heart was pounding against my ribcage. It became hard to breathe. And the muscles in my legs begged for a break.

Eventually this said break was given to me when I ran into a stone wall that was way to steep to climb.

"Nonononono! NO!", I screamed.

Welp, I'm fucked....

I heard the mobs close in on me. I turned my back to the wall, frightened. My heart pounded so fast that it felt almost painful.

Zombies and skeletons emerged from the shadows underneath the trees and limbed their way towards me, or started aiming their weapons.

I counted around 10 zombies and 12 skeletons. There was no way I could fight my way out.

Needless to say that I was already panicking at this moment.

The first arrow flew into my direction. It missed me by a single inch.

Soon enough more arrows followed.
Two missed me. Two others embedded themselves into my shoulder and leg.

I screamed out in agony. My scream echoed loudly over the tree tops.

The pain was just unbearable. A painful and stinging sensation shot through my wounded body parts. Warm blood trickled down my leg and shoulder.

A zombie growled like an animal. He was so close, I could look into his dead black eyes and smell his breath. Too close for my liking.

I backed away. My back hit the cold wall behind me. I flinched, because my wounds hurt a little more (if even possible), because of the sudden movement.

The zombie reached out to grab me. His shrap claws glistened in the moonlight.

Just when he was about to grab my head, my knees buckled and I sunk to the ground. My legs became unable to carry my weight.

My vision became blurry. The blood loss really got to me.

The zombie groaned again. Other zombies growled back. Another arrow got shot at the stone wall and fell to the floor.

Just when I was about to black out a white figure jumped down in front of me.

They killed that zombie with one strike of their iron sword and yelled something.

Shortly after lightning struck down all around us.

The stranger kneeled down in front of me.

I couldn't make out their face anymore. All I saw was a white blur, which I thought was hair.

"Are.... Fine?.... Happened?" Their voice seemed incredibly far away...

I couldn't listen anymore. My eyes grew heavy... I felt extremely drowsy.

Being to weak to withstand unconsciousness, I let myself sink into darkness...
