AMIELE'S POV:
The performance was over. The red curtains closed after a loud standing ovation and throwing of flowers. I was quite proud of myself for singing like I did, but I was more so surprised.
Madame Giry hustled me to my prima Donna room, it was beautiful on the inside. Almost every inch was bombarded with pink flowers and all of the soft pink and white lace. There was a small bed, a drawer, a closet, and even a mini desk in the room. Although most of it was covered in vases and bouquets of flowers. I walked to the desk and sat down, rubbing my face with my hands. "Well I was not expecting any of this to happen." I muttered to myself lifting my face from my hands.
A knock sounded on the wooden frame and I heaved out a "come in."
I was surprised to see Madame Giry come in and softly shut the door blind her. "Amiele," she acknowledged me, her thick french accent standing out. "You performed well, he is pleased."
'Who is what now?' I thought to myself.
She held out a single red rose with a black ribbon tied around it. My mind and face dawned with understanding and I let out a small, "oh."
With that Madame Giry left swiftly, Cat managed to slip in the room before the door was shut and sat down beside me.
"Oh Amiele! You did fantastic! Words can't describe how well you did!" She complimented me her arms never faltering their hold on my neck.
"Thanks Cat, I really didn't know I had it in me." I replied my voice muffled as I was smothered in her arm.
Cat laughed lightly, "Oh guess what?" Cat began excitedly bouncing in her seat, "Jordan asked me to dinner tonight!"
"Really?!" I asked squealing happily, she nodded. "We must get you fixed up then!" I grabbed her arm and yanked her in the direction of my dresser. I sat her down in front of the small mirror hanging on the wall.
We picked out an extravagant white dress from the wardrobe, and I put on some simple yet flashy makeup.
"Oh my gosh Cat! You look absolutely gorgeous!" I beamed at her. She giggled and got up twirling around the room. "My work here is done!" I hugged her and ushered her out of the room.
"What are you going to do? I surely can't leave you alone here by yourself!" Cat stated her bottom lip pushed out in a pout.
"Of course you can! I will be fine!" I replied smoothly.
"Uh huh, you say that now, we know how much of a trouble magnet you are." Cat countered.
I giggled slightly, "No promises. Now go." I said giving her a push, she waved at me and I waved back. "Make good choices!" I called dafter her, her giggled reached my room even from down the hallway.
I noticed the rooms were less busy before, only some cast and crew members shuffled around.
I felt a pair of eyes borring into the back of my head, but I couldn't pin point from where. I shrugged to myself and walked inside my room.
Another knock sounded on the door, I huffed in annoyance and rubbed my face once more. A muffled "come in." Sounded and I heard the door open, and in walked Firmin. Oh joy, I thought sarcastically.
He had a large bouquet of flowers and his once black and green suit was replaced by a gray and white one. "These are for you my lady." He started handing me the flowers. "You did amazing, I look forward to working with you again some time. Oh, yes and, we missed you at the ceremony tonight, where were you?" He questioned an amused grin on his face.
I had to use all of my self control to not smack it off of him right there. "I was resting in here, I am quite tired. I still am. And thank you for the compliment." I grit through my clenched teeth.
He smiled at me and licked his lips, I tried to hide my shudder but I failed miserably. My face was most likely contorted with disgust and my eyes as wide as bowling balls. "Well I think I'm going to go to sleep now. So if you could leave me to it..." I trailed off, trying to make him get the gist that I wanted him to leave.
"Good night then, I will see you tomorrow." He reached out and groaned my hand from my side and placed a kiss on it. Then he left.
I let out a moan and started scrubbing my hand, "I think I just got a disease." I murmured to myself. "There's nothing to doooooooo! And I'm not even tired!" I whined to myself.
I got up and paced around the room, all the while feeling eyes on me. I ignored the feeling and decided on changing into more adventurous clothing. "Might as well familiarize myself with the opera house." I shrugged to myself and walked out of the room to begin my exploration.
