Chapter 25

"No, sit down."

I scoffed as I sit down again. Bakit ba ako takot na takot kay Ate Agatha? Narinig ko ang bahagyang pagtawa ni Kuya Iann at ni Kuya Ryler.

"I still have some cases to digests, Ate." I reasoned out.

"I know you're already done with your school works. Tigilan mo ako," She answered back with annoyance on her face.

"Sa'yo lang talaga nakikinig 'tong brat na 'to," Komento ni Kuya Ryler. I felt my face reddened from embarassment. Kuya talaga napakaepal.

"You won't get away from me this time," Tumaas na ang boses ni Ate Agatha at naiiling.

"How dare you do your deeds in the Albrecht Hotels huh?"

This time, Kuya Scott, chuckled. Nilingon ko ito kaya natahimik agad. He raised both of his hands insisting on surrendering.

Bahagya akong sumulyap kay Sam na tahimik lang sa pagkain. Binalik ko ang tingin kay Ate Agatha na naniningkit ang mga mata. Dito pa ata talaga ako makakatanggap ng sermon mula sa kanya. Kung kailan may bisita kami.

Note my sarcasm, please.

"I saw the CCTV. Nasa elevator pa lang kayo halos--"

"My God, Ate!" Singhal ko kaya naputol ang sasabihin niya.

"I was too drunk to even remember," I continued but it was a lie. I knew exactly what happened.

Iyon ang dahilan kung bakit ayoko sa Albrecht Hotels ako dinadala ng mga nakaka-one night stand ko. My cousin will really dig everything up to shove it on my face. Lalo na't kaibigan niya ang may-ari. Kahit ano namang threaten ko na invasion of privacy iyon ay matatalo lang ako sa argumento namin. Remind me that I am a law student. 

Pagdating talaga sa kanya ay tiklop ako.

"Too drunk? That's your excuse for sleeping with an actor too."

Umasim ang mukha ko sa issue na iyon. I became trending for a month because of that. Hindi ko naman alam na may kasunod kaming paparazzi. Of course, with the help of my brothers, the pictures of me going to a hotel with that actor vanished into thin air.

"I don't want to hear my sister's escapades. Let me eat in peace, Agatha."

Hindi ko alam kung sinalba niya ako sa pag-uusap na iyon o nang iinsulto. I glance at Kuya Scott and he winked at me that made me smile. I really love him.

"You're spoiling her too much, Kuya Prescott." Komento ni Ate Agatha habang naiiling. Kuya just shrugged and continued to eat.

Nagpatuloy muli sa pagkukwentuhan ang mga lalaki habang minamata pa rin ako ni Ate Agatha.

"We should go to the backyard for a tea," Hayag ni Mom kaya naman nagsitayuan kami.

Lumapit ako kay Mom na naunang naglakad papunta sa backyard.

"I'll just change my clothes," Paalam ko at tumango siya.

Bumalik ako at nilagpasan silang lahat. Hindi nakatakas ang pagbaling ni Sam sa akin lalo na't nakasalubong ko siya. I just walked passed him and completely ignored his pressence.

"You're really stubborn," Salubong sa akin ni Chris. Bumaba ang balikat ko sa panghihina. I don't want to argue with him this time. I think I drained my energy in that dinner.

"Are you okay?" Sinulyapan ko siya bago tipid na ngumiti.

"I'm fine," His worried expression never changed. Of course, he can see through me. He knows when I'm lying.
