Chapter 39
"Dasoviche, Calhaine Prestyn Gomez."
I heard my brothers' loud voices from the crowd as I walked towards the stage.
I shook my hand to the first attorney in the line.
"Well done, Dasoviche." Hayag ni Atty. Quirino nung ito na ang nakamayan ko.
"Thank you po," Magalang na hayag ko.
When the diploma was gave to me, I felt pure bliss.
Law School is one hell of a ride. I choose the Lee-Del Vecchio law firm and I am glad that I got into their internship.
I can't take any further risk if I become a criminal lawyer.
Dad offered me to be the head of the lawyers in our empire once I passed the BAR, hopefully, I could pass it in one try, but I declined. I want to start from scratch.
I kissed her cheeks.
"Thank you, Mom." I gently answered back.
"I'm so proud of you, princess."
"Thank you, Dad." I felt him caress my back as I said those words.
Kuya Scott immediately kisses my cheeks when he stops arguing with his twin.
"Congrats, baby sis." He greeted me.
"Thank you, Kuya." Sambit ko.
Kuya Scott immediately snaked one arm to his wife's waist when she got closer to us.
"Congrats, Leigh." Bati ng asawa ni Kuya Scott. I kissed her cheeks too as I muttered my thanks.
Yes, you heard it right. His son is about ten years old now. I don't know their story but it seems like they are past lovers who eventually reconcile. They held a grand wedding four months ago for us to attend since we didn't knew their first one and through it, they renew their vows. I am happy for my brother.
Unlike his annoying twin, he's a hopeless case. Yet I feel bad for Kuya Ryler. He can't find another love because his heart is loyal to someone. Tatanda atang binata ang kapatid ko.
Should I pair him with someone I know?
