X BONUS CHAPTER [nomin] X

"I don't want to go home."

Renjun chuckled, "Baby, it'll be alright. Minnie maybe cooled off by now."

Jeno sighed, "Why do you have to leave us when I need you?"

"I don't want to do the thesis without my groupmates. I'll be back later by dinner," the omega uttered, removing the seatbelt and grabbing the things he needed with him.

Jeno and Jaemin had a fight last night. It was about the alpha not being able to attend their donation drive at a small town yesterday, and he didn't even catch up. The alpha promised and Jaemin got upset about him breaking the promise. Jeno just got busy all of a sudden because of reports and meetings. As much as he wants to keep himself on schedule, he can't excuse himself.

Jaemin doesn't scream or shout, he just gives a cold vibe and low, flat voice whenever he's angry or upset. Renjun tried to talk him out of it but Jaemin's just really upset about it.

"He'll eventually understand. Come on. Atleast make it up for him too while I'm gone," the omega said and smiled at him.

The alpha briefly smiled back, "Alright. Take care. I'll pick you up."

Jeno leaned and gave Renjun a peck before the omega stepped out of the car then comes into the apartment of his college friend. The alpha drives back to their shared flat and he doesn't know if he should buy something for Jaemin or not, because the beta likes fluff but when he's mad, he's mad.

Despite the thought of it, Jeno stopped by a flower shop to get a big bouquet before he arrived at their apartment. He's never this nervous besides confronting Jaemin. Renjun easily forgives but the beta was another thing.

As a surprise, Jeno just knocked on the door and lets Jaemin open it for him. When the beta did, he saw the big bouquet of flowers that was hiding the alpha behind. The alpha was expecting an 'awe' or a pout from Jaemin but it was still the cold expression. The beta didn't say anything and just left the alpha there.

Jeno sighed and walked in. He closed the door softly as his eyes followed Jaemin to the kitchen. He placed the bouquet on the coffee table and went towards the beta who was already preparing lunch.

"Jaem--"

"Don't talk. Let me cool off by myself, Jeno."

Jaemin was chopping the vegetables faster and louder which could be dangerous if he's nearby.

Nevertheless, the alpha stood behind the beta and wrapped his arm around the waist, placing his chin on the shoulder and his other hand on the counter, "Babe. I said I'm sorry."

"It doesn't seem much of a big deal but it is to me. It was such an important day and you didn't even bother to atleast leave your work for a while to support me and Renjun."

"I know that, I know it was important and I know I messed up. That's why I'm trying to make it up to you. I don't want you to keep ignoring me, please."

Jaemin stopped and sighed before he looked at Jeno, "You need to atleast call us if you couldn't go."

"I promise. But I'll tag along from now on. I promise to leave work when we're going again," the alpha said and smiled at the beta.

The beta raised an eyebrow at him, "How would I know that you wouldn't break your promise?"

"Trust me," Jeno uttered.
