"We drink the poison out minds pour for us and wonder why we feel so sick."

Stupid brother.

The little ball that Eleanor found on her way back up bounced against the wall as she slumped in her and Dream's shared room.

Stupid apocalypse.

A pout was evident on her face as she thought about the way her brother practically told her she was too weak.

"ARGH!"

She let out a cry of frustration before tossing around in the bed, tears at the brink of her eyes as she thought about her brother's words.

She wasn't angry at him for accusing her of something, no.
She was angry at herself because she thought the same way.

I'm not cut fot this situation.

One tear left her eye as she tried to breathe evenly again.

The past few days, I've been slowing everyone down, putting them in danger.

Oh god I can't even fight for myself properly.

Hot tears now streamed down her face as she thought about the injuries Dream and Nick recieved while protecting her.

I'm so selfish.

I'm selfish for putting them in danger for my own safety.

She whimpered before scrunching up like a fetus in it's mother's womb, trying to find comfort in her own warmth.

It hurts so much.

Eleanor sobbed as she breathed in Dream's lingering scent from the bedsheet, immediately feeling a bit better.

A soft knock interrupted her train of thoughts. She quickly stood up, cheking her appearance in a mirror.

To say she looked terrible would be and underestimation.
She had become thinner the past few days and looked sick due to her pale skin. The eyebags she still had from her time as a doctor had become even darker.

"O-One second!",
she quickly explained before combing through her hair with her fingers.

She wiped her face with her sleeve before putting on a forced smile.

Opening the door, she was surprised at the sight infront of her.

Nick used his katana as a support as he leaned to his left, looking at Eleanor with a weak smile.

Dark eyebags were beneath his eyes as he breathed heavily from just having climbed the stairs.

Her eyes widened before inviting him inside, offering a seat on the bed.

"Oh Nick, it's good to see you standing again."

Her voice sounded surprised as she stood infront of his sitting form awkwardly.
