"memento mori"
-
Remember, that you must die.

Wind blew through my air as I walked through a pasture, it's greens and grass high enough to tickle my neck.

It seemed like the sound of dry grass rustling, whispering, was the only sound you heard on this rather vast landscape.

An earthy smell hung in the air.

I looked around to be met with nothingness. Rows and field of corn and a few lone evergreens were all I saw.

Looking at myself, I realized that I had changed.

My dirty and smelly clothes were replaced by a white and long gown that went down to my ankles.

My fuzzy hair was now silky and perfectly cut.

Slowly, I sniffed my arms to realize that I smelled like a garden filled with wild flowers.

My brows furrowed in confusion as I looked around again.

Where am I?

The question repeated itself in my head as I walked around, trying to find an exit, but to no avail.

The fields never stopped.

Everything looked the same even after I walked into a certain direction for something that seemed like hours.

What is this place?

Anxiety rose within me.

"Hello!"

My scream echoed through the air as I screamed at the top of my lungs.

Dream?

Wilbur?

Nick?

Anyone?

My screams and pleas were left unanswered.

Breaking down, I collapsed onto my knees before I buried my face between my hands.

"Help me."

My voice was unsteady and I sounded weak as I whispered the words to myself.

"Eleanor."

My eyes widened and head whipped back as I looked at the figure behind me.

My breath got stuck within my lungs and heartbeat accelerated when I realized.

"Dream!"

I quickly scrambled up before I ran straight into his arms, enjoying his warmth and scent.

He gently gripped my shoulders before he pushed me away.

"I want to show you something."
