"Somewhere deep in her heart she knew, that something would always go wrong. In fact wrong enough, that it might cost someone their life."

_ _ _ _________ _ _ _

The zombies pounded against the glass, making the only barrier between us and the big horde crack.

Defeated expressions filled our faces as we looked at the horrifying sight infront of us.

We were as good as dead.

A FEW MOMENTS AGO...

*Eleanor's POV*

My lungs ached for oxygen and my legs burned as me and the group ran up and down the stairs, gathering as many things as possible before we'd flee.

It was a small fire in the kitchen, which wouldn't have been a problem if the fire alarm didn't start to blare with a deafening volume.

The alarm way noisy.

Noise attrackts zombies.

Zombies make more noise and thus attrackt even more zombies.

There was no way back.
We'd have to get out of here before the zombies block and tear down the entrances.

The already loud groans that came from every wall made me anxious as everyone gathered at the back door.

Wilbur and Dream had met at the front as they checked and discussed our plan.

"Okay guys."

Tommy suddenly interuppted the conversation, making everyone look at him with raised eyebrows. It seemed like he just realized that the whole attention was now set on him as he chuckled nervously.

"Any...Any last words?"

Tubbo smacked him at the back of his head before Wilbur and Dream finally turned around with serious faces.

"There are also a few zombies at the back, but definetly less than at the front. Dream and Techno are the srongest of the group, they'll exit first and kill the few. After that we'll build a line with Dream at the front and Techno at the back. Any questions?"

"Which place are we going to?"

Wilbur looked back at Dream before they nod at eachother, looking like they just agreed to something.

"We're going to a laboratory which is supposed to be safe."

Supposed?

The question lingered in my head as we all silently walked through the backdoor with thumping hearts.

A tall boy with brown hair was the last to walk through the frame before we build a line.

The foul smell of rotten flesh and blood seemed to get stronger with every second as the loud noise attrackted more and more zombies.

Worry flooded my mind as one particular question made me tremble in fear.

What if something goes wrong?

Tears gathered in my eyes as I watched how large amounts of zombies poured from every possible direction.

I felt small between the boys as we ran through the streets with a group of death hot on our trail.

"WATCH OUT!"

The tall from the back suddenly screamed as we stopped in our tracks.

My mind went blank and dread filled my face when spotting the large group of zombies that came from the front, trapping us in the middle of the street.
