"Monsters don't sleep under your bed, they sleep inside your head."

The moon shone proudly, making the city glow under it's light while also casting deep shadows for your worst fears to hide.

The night was chilly, making Eleanor shiver and wake from the slumber she had fallen into. Her head leaned against Dream's shoulder as he also slept in a rather uncomfotable position.

She grimaced at his posture before she gently shook his shoulders, succesfully waking him up.

They were still on the little balcony.

"Let's go inside, yeah?"

She quickly agreed as Dream straightened up only to kneel down infront of her, offering his back, seeing that her body was still weak.

Eleanor wasted no time and it only took them a few quick seconds before they were back inside again, the white and vast corridors not allowing them to feel warmer at all.

It was a five minute journey back to the room where everyone was sleeping, but the brunette didn't feel like sleeping at all.

"Dream?"

"Hmm?"

His low voice made her feel warmer and at home within the blink of an eye.

"Are you sleepy?"

He thought about his answer, guessing what she was hinting at.

"No, not at all."

What a lie.

Eleanor sighed in relief before she let her face sink onto his shoulder.

"Can we go to the canteen? I'm kind of hungry."

"Sure."

Of course the poor boy was tired. He was human and the past few days had been nothing but nerve-wrecking.
Everything was finally taking a toll on his body.

The blonde boy also couldn't say 'no' to the girl though.

A sweet giggle, like the melodic chirping of a bird in a forest, interrupted his train of thoughts while also making his heart skip a beat.

"What's so funny?"

"I don't know. You're just so tall that everything looke weird from up here."

"Maybe you're just a midget."

"Hey!"

Eleanor playfully hit his shoulder as both chuckled. Dream acted as if he was shot as he quickly let go of her, making her fall onto the nearest bench before he let himself fall onto his back, playing dead.

Eleanor's loud laughter made him smile in satisfaction as he looked up at her again, her joyous face gifting peace to his heart.

"I never knew you were a professional actor, Dream."

His brows furrowed before he sat up, frowning as he noticed something.

"You still don't know my real name."

His sentence nade her stop in her actions as she thought about it.
Why did it never cross her mind that 'Dream' was unlikely to be his real name?

But then again, everything was possible nowadays and she also couldnt blame him for faking his name as she thought back to the times when she also lied about her identity.

She shrugged at his realization, not wanting to pressure him into something he might not be comfortable about.

"Starting from this moment, I want you to call me Clay."

An awkward silence (craw craw craw....I'm sorry) surrounded both before Eleanor's loud cackling broke it.

"L-Like the material Cl-Clay?"

She couldn't stop herself from laughing, making the boy infront of her redden in embarrassment.

"Hey!"

And that's how they spent their time together until sunrise approached;
Laughing and treasuring the moment.

A loud yell interrupted Eleanor from another fit of laughter as they watched none other than the infamous Tommy approach them.

"WOMAN!"

"Child?"

Eleanor watched the way Tommy scowled in embarrasement before he glared at Dre- I mean Clay.

"Did you teach her that?"

Clay shrugged at the infuriated boy, making him let out an unsatisfied hum.

Soon enough, more and more people filled the spacious canteen, making the once vast and cold place feel warmer while filling it with laughter.

Stories were told.

Memories were made.

Bond were being strengthened.

However, you shouldn't forget that there is always a bit of evil in good.

And in good, there is evil.

What a pity.
