"They made you into a weapon and told you to find peace."

*3rd person's POV*
It was odd, really.
The way people knew how to play with words and create sentences powerful enough to change one's way of thinking.
Eleanor kept thinking about Techno's words.
"It's worth it."
Ever since the little conversation they shared, she felt realxed, almost as if everything was okay.
"It's worth it."
"They are worth it."
She whispered the words to herself, thinking about the weigh they also held.
And she kept repeating them over and over again until the very moment she stood infront of Alfred's office again.
Oh how she hated that man.
Pushing the door open, she entered the lion's den with slow steps. She could feel the way the athmosphere around her turned colder with every step she took, making her shiver before she came to a halt infront of Alfred.
"Are you ready?"
Was she ready?
Honestly, she didn't know.
She gave him a curt nod, causing him to stand up with a satisfied smirk before he ushered her back out again only to lead her through corridors she had never seen before.
Eleanor's hands trembled at her sides and her knees felt weak the moment they came to a stop infront of glass doors.
She was unaware about everything that was happening around her.
Alfred quickly entering a code into a keypad.
Getting pushed into the room and finally getting chained onto a chair, with her limbs bound to not move for a good amount of time.
Only then, she finally came back to her senses.
"Wh-What are you going to do with me?"
Alfred stopped his movement before he turned to her, making her blood freeze cold.
He somehow looked different.
The glint in his eyes was the same you would recognize in the eyes of an hungry and dangerous animal. It made him look like everything but human.
She regretted her decision.
What if she had not accepted his deal.
What if she had been selfish in her life once.
Then maybe they would have been on the streets again, but they would be together.
All the misfortune and death. At least they would have survived it together.
The thought that she'd have to do this alone scared her.
