𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐓-𝐃𝐎𝐆 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍. "Maybe, if I knew we would get Glenn back, I might agree." T-Dog sighed. The small, tiny space smelled of strong mold. "But you think that asshole across the way will just hand him over?" T-Dog questioned looking at Rick. "What you think G is a liar?" The boy questioned. No matter why or how this young boy respected and trusted G. But blind trust can get you killed.

"Are you a part of this?" Daryl spat in the boy's face. "Back up Daryl, scaring him doesn't help us," Samantha said looking up at Daryl from her seat in the grass. "Whatever." Daryl scoffed backing up. "The question is do you trust that man's word?" T-Dog asked Rick. Out of the people, she has met so far T-Dog and Rick seemed the most grounded.

"Nah, the question is what are you willing to bet on it? Could be more than guns it could be our lives." Daryl asked. "At this point death is inevitable, but how long you stay alive is your choice," Samantha said finally adding to the conversation. "Death was already inevitable but now, your chances of dying are triple," she added. She hoped what she said helped but truly it just made Rick even more worried about his family. "Is Glenn worth the risk to you?" Daryl asked in a weirdly concerning way.

Rick got the gun in his hand ready before putting it in his holster. "What life I have, I owe to him," Rick said sincerely. Whatever happened before Samantha got with them, Glenn must've done something to save Rick. "I was nobody to Glenn, just some idiot stuck in a tank." Rick said looking at the guns on the table. "He could've walked away, but he didn't. And neither will I." Rick said.

Samantha stared at him in wonder. "Good on you Rick, wonder how long you'll keep that selfless heroicness?" She questioned, the good never lasted in bad situations. "As long as I can." He answered back and she smiled looking down. "I wish you luck." She said she had never had selfless heroicness. Her actions always benefited her self. Even when she pleaded to her best friend, she pleaded "Do it for me, don't leave me alone." She had always been selfish, but in this kind of world, only a few weren't selfish.

"So you're gonna give up our guns?" Daryl questioned his voice raised slightly and his fists started to clench. "I didn't say that." Rick and Daryl share a long look. "There's nothing keeping you here. You should head back to camp, take Samantha with you." Rick said getting more guns ready. "And tell your family what?" T-Dog asked running his hand over his head. "Yeah, and I'm not leaving," Samantha said in agreement with T-Dog.

They all shared a look before Rick handed T-Dog a gun and Daryl started getting ready. "You know how to use a gun, Sam?" Daryl asked, and she stood up. "Yeah, and it's Samantha." She lied, she'd never killed a human. She had held different kinds before but only pulled the trigger on deer or rabbits. And each time she would cry herself to sleep, so she was somewhat lying. "I'm not calling you that, take this." He said handing her a rifle.

She took it and moved it around in her arms getting used to the placement. It had been close to a decade since she last held a gun. "This is insane." The boy said getting up. "Sit your ass down." Daryl snapped. Hesitantly Samantha put her finger on the trigger. "You got this Sammy, pull the trigger baby." She nodded and pulled the trigger. The force caused her to stumble back and she heard the deer fall on its side. "DAMNIT SAMMY, you didn't kill it. Give me the gun." Her father snapped snatching the gun from her hands. He walked up to the deer and shot it multiple times. It was overkill, no pun intended. Samantha ran back to the cabin sobbing the entire time.
