AS DARYL WALKED THROUGH THE FIELD HE NOTICED SOMETHING. Samantha bent over emptying her stomach. He broke into a sprint and Carl opened the door for him. Maggie was holding Samantha's hair and rubbing her back when suddenly Samantha fell against Maggie.

"I can take her," Rick said with no emotion, "No I'll do it," Daryl said and his crossbow hung on his back with the strap wrapping around his body. Maggie moved aside so Daryl could pick her up. As her walked her inside he noticed her coming in and out of consciousness her eyes opening and closing.

He laid her on the bed and stepped out as Beth and Carol checked to make sure she was alright. "She doesn't have a fever that's for sure," Beth said, "Her cheeks were warm earlier," Carol looked at Beth and Daryl took that as his cue to leave.

"Beth, could you stay with her?" Carol asked and Beth nodded, Beth sat on the bed in the spare space.

A/N: For this part when if it is italicized it takes place in her head, like when Octavia fights Blodreina in season 6

Samantha looked around at the field she was in, the one she would see the mustangs in. She saw them, she started to walk towards them. Soon she noticed someone standing in the middle of the group.

"True answers only," Amelia said walking from the herd of mustangs approaching her friend. "Who am I?" Amelia asked standing two feet in front of her friend. "Amelia, my best friend." Amelia nodded. "Is that all?" Amelia's head tilted. "Yes." Suddenly Amelia was back in the middle of the herd.

"True answers only, who am I?" She asked approaching Samantha. "Amelia, my best friend," Samantha answered again. "Is that all?" Samantha gulped before answering, "Yes," and Amelia was in the herd again.

That would go on for what would feel like hours.

"How is she?" Glenn asked as Daryl went down the steps. "I don't know, I'm not her keeper." Daryl shrugged. "We got sheets for the cells if you want to take that inside." Glenn offered hoping Daryl would do so but not forcing him to. "No," Daryl walked away. "I can," Carl offered.

Maggie was inside keeping watch on the baby, "Hey Beth do you want to watch her, she doesn't like me too much." Maggie was hating the sound of a baby wailing in her ears. "Yeah," Beth headed into the room grabbing the baby and Maggie sat by Samantha.

She sat there for close to an hour when Samantha's eyes opened and she sat up panicked. "Say it! You've admitted it, now say it out loud." But she didn't "SAY IT!" Samantha cried wiping her face as the tears fell.

"Hey it's okay," Maggie said in a soothing tone, "It's not, I can't keep lying." Samantha cried her tears dampening her skin. "Lying about what?" Maggie asked.

"Amelia is my sister, I lost my sister." Samantha sobbed, Maggie brought her in for a hug. Samantha gripped Maggie as she cried. If Amelia wasn't her sister it wouldn't have hurt so much so Samantha lied to herself. A lie that went so deep it changed memories.
