"Monsters are real, and they walk among you."

Samantha watched as Rick bit out of the man's neck. She took that as her sign to finally help them. She helped kill the few men that fought them.

"Samantha?" Daryl asked. She ignored him running up to Rick and hugging him. Rick's arm immediately went around her. "I missed you," she whispered. "I missed you too, Samantha." He said softly. She hugged him for another minute. "Sammy?"

She pulled back looking at Carl. "Oh look at you," the widest smile spread across her lips. "Can I get a hug?" She asked and he hugged her tightly. "I've missed you so much," she cried softly. She hugged him as tight as she could. "You're all real," she smiled looking at Carl, Rick, and Michonne. She still hadn't spared Daryl a look.

"Sam?" Daryl asked hoping for her to look at him. That's all he wanted was for her to acknowledge he existed. "No," she said to Daryl stepping away from Carl. "What?" He asked confused by her words or lack thereof. "You need clarification?" She wondered if he really didn't know. "What'd I do?"

"You left me on one of the worst days of my life! You left me! So, we aren't friends, we aren't acquaintances, we aren't lovers. We are nothing! We are back to square one, and it'll stay that way. Because you promised me! You promised," she wiped a tear that fell, "You said you would never leave me. But I was foolish to think you would stick to your word." He broke a little more with each word that left her mouth.

He could feel himself start to cry, "I hate you!" She yelled and a sob escaped his mouth. "You left me so now you know who I felt." She started walking down the road. "You don't need him you have us," Lori smiled at her.

She was stopped by Carl hugging her from behind. "Please don't leave, Sammy," Carl begged and she let out a shaky exhale. "Don't do it, you've finally become okay with being alone. DON'T DO THIS!" Jay yelled at her.

"Shut up noodle arms!" Amelia snapped. "Bite me shorty," Jay said and she walked up to him. "I'm not that short dipshit, you're the one that's 5'9." Jay gasped loudly. "Sure you aren't gay?" Amelia asked. "FUCK YOU!" Samantha rubbed her face.

She turned around and nodded. Carl walked back to Michonne. Samantha sat next to Rick who sat leaning against a car. She sighed "I missed you, all of you." She whispered and he looked at her. He noticed markings on her arm, "What's that?" He asked.

She pulled her sleeves up and he looked at the names on her arms. All of them: Lori, Carl, Beth, Maggie, Glenn, Hershel, Rick, Daryl, Carl, and Judith. Those she loved most.

"I'm glad your alive," he whispered. She looked at him, "I love you, Rick," she looked at him hoping for him to say it back. "Love you too, Samantha." He gave her a small smile, all he could muster. She stood up walking away.

She stopped a few feet in front of Daryl. He took a couple of big steps, wrapping his arms around her lifting her up before setting her down. He never let go of her though. One hand went to his arm the other to his head messaging his scalp.
