SHANE GRIPPED SAMANTHA'S ARM DRAGGING HER INTO THE FIELD. She let him because she had a plan, "Are you gonna kill me?" She asked. He looked at her, "Yeah," He smiled and they kept walking until they were far enough away. "I have been trying to find out how to do it." He said letting go of her taking a step back.
"When it suddenly came to me, give you a taste of your own medicine." He smiled and his hand quickly grabbed her sword. He brought it up, the end of it grazing her stomach. He pushed it forward just a little to cause her to start bleeding.
Her eyes flickered to behind him for a split second. Her head lowered, her eyes darkened and she smirked.
"You are gonna drop the sword or else I will put this arrow through your head."
Samantha noticed Rick walking their way and she was slightly shocked. But as he got closer she saw the angry look on his face and who it was aimed at.
"I'm not afraid of you." Shane was looking Samantha in the eye, his eyes blazing with a fiery rage. "Maybe you should be." Was heard from behind him.
It was Rick. He knew Shane slept with Lori, that Shane was trying to replace Rick. He knew everything, and he was betrayed but more importantly, he was angry.
Samantha's hands came to the sword and pulled so his grip would loosen and she could have it back. The way she held it caused her no damage.
Once it was put away, she and Daryl took a step back to allow them to have their talk. Daryl was still angry at Samantha. Despite his anger for her, he had to keep her alive, especially if she couldn't. "You only care about yourself and maybe finding your brother. That's why you don't belong, cause we all care for each other. We will fight for the other, I might be new but at least I've earned their trust and respect. You've been with them from the beginning yet they'd be fine if you walked off and simply didn't come back. It's your choice if they don't care, your choice to not bond. Don't blame me."
She was right, but he still hated how she called him selfish. He could admit he was selfish. But saying he didn't care to bond, or care to be a part of a family truly pissed him off. "I'm sorry about what I said," she was afraid to admit it. It wasn't that long ago but even as the words left her mouth then she felt instant regret. "My life has been filled with empty promise after empty promise. 'I'll protect you' 'We survive together or not at all' and I'm here and she's not. I shouldn't have taken my self-hatred out on you. And, I'm sorry." She didn't want to wait for his response.
She knew what Rick was doing he had to do it himself, so she walked away. She soon heard footsteps behind her. Daryl walked by her side, they heard a gun go off and they both stopped. They turned and saw Rick but that wasn't what drew their attention. "Rick! RUN!" Samantha yelled and he turned around.
He ran into the barn, "What is he doing?" Daryl asked, "Creating a diversion, we have to go and warn everyone." They ran back, and the first person they saw was Lori.
