I walked over to Austin and his friends before school. I barely got any sleep so I was already tired.
"Can I talk to you?" I said to Austin.
They all looked at me and Austin let out a laugh, "no."
"Austin," I sighed.
He stared at me then looked away, "just gonna tell me about the awesome night you had with Winston?"
"What?" I scoffed.
"Curly told me you and Dal arrived home nearly 4am and disappeared into his room." Austin shook his head. "I should've known."
"Austin shut up that isn't even what happened. Come here so I can talk to you." I pulled on his hand.
He sighed and finally agreed. He followed me as I walked to the bench with him. He stared at the ground as we sat down.
"What do you want?"
"I wanna know if you're okay." I shrugged. "Everyone's been telling me to immediately sleep with Dallas and rub it in your face just to see you upset but I'm not like that. And I don't want to see you hurt." I sighed. "I did like you Austin. Well, I do like you. Its unfortunate it ended how it did..."
"With your exs jumping me? Yeah." He scoffed.
I looked away and sighed. "You're making it really hard to apologize. I didn't tell them to get you."
"All you had to do was stay away from your ex boyfriends. You knew I didn't like it Elena and you still let Dallas come around, and fucking hell Elena, you even somehow brought your other ex back into your life. You wouldn't have liked it if I had Amanda Lichelle hanging on me all the time would you?"
"Well no." I huffed. "You don't realize how defiant Dallas is. I told him a shit ton to leave me alone he's just..." I looked away. "You don't get it, Austin. You act like I've cheated on you." He didn't say anything. "There's so much pressure on me to choose. And anything I choose will upset someone."
"I'll make this easy, Elena." He stood up, "choose Dallas. I just don't care anymore. Whatever keeps your posse from jumping me."
"It wasn't a matter of choosing him. Its choosing to respect what we had or not, Austin. Ill get called a whore by more people than just my brother if I get with anyone else right now. And I know you don't care what named people call me but it hurts." I began walking away.
"Elena I do care." He grabbed my wrist. "And so do my friends. We all really liked having you around and we aren't letting people bad mouth you, alright? I didn't send Curly to yell at you yesterday like you think I did. I actually told him to leave you alone but you know him."
"Yeah well," I looked away. "I don't know what you want me to tell you. But whatever I do ill be called a slut anyway so..." I pulled my wrist away and walked off as the first period bell rang.

I walked down the hall on my way to lunch and seen Blake with his new girlfriend walking. I tried to get by without him noticing me but he grabbed my wrist as I moved past.
"What the hell El?" He was upset. He glanced at the girl then pulled me aside. "You didn't come home last night."
"Obviously." I nodded.
"Why?"
"Sam would've yelled at me for letting you get in a fight like that Blake." I shook my head. "I really don't want to deal with Sam right now."
"He wouldn't have said anything. I already told him what happened. He's going crazy since you won't talk to him Elena." He sighed. "Sam really misses you."
"I don't want to hear this." I muttered.
"So what, El? You just hung out with Winston all night? The moment you and him are back together you abandon your family?"
I scoffed. "First off, Blake, we aren't even back together, alright? Secondly, he had to go to work so no. He wanted me to go home so I dont even want to hear how he's a bad influence."
Blake ran his hand through his hair and stared down the hall as he thought to himself.
"You're so hard to keep happy." He muttered.
"Blake all I want is to stop fighting with you and Sam all the damn time."
"You won't even give Sam a chance! I feel like I'm the messenger between you two right now. He loves you Elena. Just as much as I do."
I began walking away from him and he followed, "Elena are you coming home tonight?"
"I don't know." I mumbled.
"Sam will be out with friends tonight," he stopped me. "I was gonna bring Mack over but-"
"Just have fun with your girlfriend tonight Blake."
"No, El, I want you home. I've already talked to her and she doesn't mind if I cancel."
I looked at him then shook my head, "I don't want to be there."
He stared at me then scoffed and walked away without saying anything. His girlfriend who was standing to the side waiting for him glanced at me and sighed then turned to catch up with him because he was clearly upset.
I walked into the cafeteria and waved my fingers at Dally and the gang before going to sit down with my friends.
