Part Fifteen; Making Me Liar

Elena looked around and gulped, this place looked weird. She tried to get free of the chains she was holding down by, it was weird, but nothing something she was not use to. She looked at her feet hopelessly before sighing. "Hello! Anyone there?"

After a few seconds, the door opened, revealing a tall man with dark skin. Elena frowned and looked at the man with confusion. "I am glad you are awake. I thought you were going to die, it took you two days" Them man let out a nervous chuckle and Elena looked at him with shock.

"Two days? I am out for two days! Oh my god, Kai! Kai will go out of his mind!" She yelled out, earning a confused look from Marcel. If Kai was someone so dangerous, he would be there in two days, so he just shrugged and continued looking at the girl. "Who are you and why did you kidnap me? Where are we right now?"

Marcel cleared his throat and smiled a bit. "My name is Marcel And we are in New Orleans, and I kidnapped you because I don't need any hybrids around my city" Elena's eyes widened and her lips slightly parted. She knew who the guy was. "You are Rebekah's ex, aren't you?"

"How do you know this?" Marcel asked with confusion and Elena shrugged. "I can read minds" She said it that causal, it made him almost believe. And Elena started to laugh when he looked so confused. "Of course I can't read minds, Rebekah is my best friend. And you know her, she talks, a lot"

"She does" Marcel nodded and let out a sigh. Elena looked around and her chains. "Come on! I don't deserve this hostility! Aren't we friends, you are my best friend's ex!"

"If you think small talk about me and Rebekah will get you free, you certainly know nothing about how serious this situation is for me" Elena shrugged and looked at the man with kind of calmness. "I was not even giving my blood to Klaus"

"I can't leave anything to chance, just so you know. Klaus is a more threatening situation to you more than he is for me. You should be thanking" Elena narrowed her eyes and huffed. "Oh, what a hero! I can look after myself!"

Marcel smirked and walked to the door. "Yeah, of course you can. That is why I kidnapped in five minutes" He left the room, leaving Elena alone. She sighed and shook her head, she had to get out. She did not want to think what Kai would do when she was gone, or what he would think about her disappearance.

In Salvatore Boarding House, Caroline and Stefan were trying to calm Kai down who was using the every spell he knew to find Elena. "Look, I know her Kai. She would not dump you just because of a fight"

Kai shrugged and continued to cast locator spells. Caroline sighed and grabbed the world map Kai was working on. Kai threw her a angry glare. "Enough! She wants to be alone, leave her alone!"

"What if Klaus has her?" Kai looked at Stefan with shock, he never considered that. Caroline gulped and looked down, she did not really like the possibility. "Is it possible?" Stefan shrugged and nodded. "We are talking about Klaus. When it comes to him, everything is possible"

Kai stood up and closed his eyes. Stefan frowned, tying to understand what he was trying to accomplish. "What are you doing?" Kai sighed and opened his eyes. "Trying to transport myself to New Orleans, anyone fancy to come?"

Caroline nodded and walked to Kai, she wanted to know if her best friend was alright. Stefan sighed but followed Caroline, their relationship developed since Elena and Bonnie was trapped in the prison world. "Alright, we are ready"

And within seconds, they were in front of a bar in the New Orleans. "Anyone has ever been here?" Both Caroline and Stefan shook their and Kai nodded in understanding. "So what? We are going to ask people if they know a big bad scary hybrid living around with his psychotic family?"

Kai looked inside of the bar and smirked. "That is exactly what we are doing, come on!" The trio walked into the bar and saw the blonde bartender who was pouring drinks for her customers. Kai faked his best smile and walked to her way. "Hi, me and my friends here looking for someone's address. You know, blonde man with anger issues, name Klaus Mikaelson?"

Blonde's breath hitched and looked at the people in front of her warily. "I don't know who is he" She tried to turn her back but Caroline cleared her throat. "She is lying" She grabbed her arm looked directly into her eyes. "Where is Klaus Mikaelson living at?"

The bartender looked at Caroline furiously and pushed her arm away. "Get off of me!" Kai narrowed her eyes when he realized she was on vervain. "You ordinary people always have to make it harder, don't you?" He grabbed her arm and started to siphon the vervain out of her bloodstream. When he was done, he smiled to Caroline and nodded his head positively. "Try again, she will answer now"

Caroline compelled the bartender and this time they got the address. Stefan looked impressive as they walked out of the bar with Klaus' open address. "This was easy, now, anyone fancies killing some vampires?"

"We don't know if he has her, maybe it is someone who doesn't want Klaus to make hybrids?" Caroline offered, making Stefan nod. Kai shrugged and they continued walking until they reached to the specific location they had been looking for. "We really did not need an address, this is the only house screams Mikaelson"

Stefan nodded, agreeing with Caroline as they walked inside. The door led them into a huge garden era, Kai looked around with impress. "What are you three doing here" The blonde Original asked as she saw the trio. Kai smiled unapologetically and walked to the blonde. "Rebekah right? Great, someone would be interested in"

"Interested in what?" Rebekah asked with boredom and curiosity at the same time. Kai looked like he was thinking about it for a second. "In what? Oh let me think! World peace, income equality? No? What about Elena's disappearance?" Rebekah's eyes widened and looked at Stefan who nodded and sighed. "Elena is missing?"

"Yes, and I have a great hunch about your brother has something to do with it"
