Wheatly drifted through space. He couldn't believe what had just happened. In fact, the past few days had seemed surreal. He would never had hurt Chell, or any living thing for that matter. Something about the power had changed him. At least he was back to normal, even if he was in space.
Things could be worse. Rick wasn't mad at him. In fact, Rick was excited. His greatest journey had just began. Right now, he was discussing how one should explore space with the fact core. Wheatly himself was deep in thought.
"You know," he said at last, to no one on particular, "if I could, I would take it all back. I truly would. And I'm not just saying that because we're stranded in space.
"Space! Space! Spaaaaace!" cried Nolan the space core.
"Yes mate, I know we're in space. But honestly, I really am sorry."
"So much space," marveled the space core.
"You, we're both in space," Wheatly acknowledged. "And I know I was bossy and monstrous. But now I really am sorry. To the end."
He drifted wherever fate would take him next. He didn't know it, but that somewhere was actually quite special. His story wasn't over yet.
