LELAN

I haven't been meaning to ignore Nina but, I just think it would be better for her to know that it's better we forget about what happened and make it easier on ourselves in keeping things professional between each other.

Besides, I'm not wanting a relationship right now and she seems like she isn't in to just having 'fun' anyways, so it's better this way.

Throughout the past couple of weeks, I know I have tried to avoid her and have taken a few girls out on a date here and there but, nothing serious. Not that it matters anyways.

Today I was going over some paperwork throughout the past few years when things started to really go downhill with my uncle's hotel and can not believe he didn't take these concerns in consideration sooner. It is a good thing I am here to help save it but this will involve a lot of intense investigating and research.

Most of the numbers here with inventory and other financial problems I am noticing in these annual reports, something isn't adding up.

I hear the door to my hotel room open up and see it's Trevon. He walks towards me and starts grabbing a drink at the bar then comes over and plops down on the couch across from me.

"Hey." He greets me.

"Hey." I nod in response while tossing the papers down onto the coffee table in front of us.

"You have been at that same paperwork for a week in a half almost everyday man, you need to go out and take a break or something." He says.

"Yeah well, there's too much shit I got to figure out." I tell him.

"Whatever." He rolls his eyes and takes a drink of his beer.

"So what about you? Aren't you busy with your business?" I ask.

"Pff. Yeah, but I still give myself enough time in between to have fun. That's one of the good parts of having investors and having them help out in doing the work. I do most of it, but they do things that are far more time consuming." He smiles.

"Wait, how much did you give them in the deal?" I asked concerned if he gave them too many rights. He's not necessarily good at handling business and deals as I am.

"Don't worry. I do most of the work and make sure things are in order and have a say on the important things. Plus, the size of my share and the royalties on top are amazing. I've watched enough Shark Tank." He jokes at the last part.

We both share a chuckle before I ask him a few more questions just to make sure and I have to hand it to him. After hearing all he told me, I realized that he did good on this deal after all.

After hanging out for a while and watching TV, he began to stretch and finish his drink.

"Bro, we have to go out tonight. We both could use a guys night out." He insists.

"Yeah, it would be nice to take a break I guess." I agreed.

We both get up and begin getting ready to go out. Ever since a couple weeks ago, I had him move in here with me and stays in the spare bedroom on the bottom floor here since it is a two story hotel room suite.

Once we finished getting ready, I had one of the valet guys to run and get my car real quick before we then took off.

Neither of us felt like going to a club tonight so we ended up hanging out at a bar that is just outside of the city where you can play pool at, karaoke, dance and just have a lot of fun in. Honestly, I have been enjoying this type of place more than the clubs because they all seem to be the same to me and though they can be fun at times, I still enjoy this kind of a place more nowadays.

The Next Morning

I guess I drank a lot last night as I seemed to have woken up late and around lunchtime, missing out on the first half of evaluating some of the employees today, but honestly, I don't feel like doing any work anyways.

So I ended up spending the rest of the day in my room until it was around dinner time.

Not sure in what I felt like yet, I decided to head downstairs to the bar and think about it over a beer on tap.

When I arrived, I noticed Nina was sitting at the bar having a drink and talking with Lance, since it looked like the bar seemed to be slow as there were only a small handful of people sitting at the bar and around the small tables in the attached room.

I haven't really talked to her and don't want things to be awkward, yet, we are both adults and I am really wanting a nice cold beer on tap. So I just decide to take a seat at the end of the bar and get the other bartender to serve me my drink and hope she will be leaving soon.

The bartender right away greeted me and poured me sa glass before handing it to me.

I haven't been sitting here for more than a minute and already some random woman approached me and sat in the seat beside me.

"Hi there." She smiles seductively.

"Hi." I replied without making any eye contact and took a drink from my glass.

"You come here often?" She asks a she leans forward closer to me.

"No." I replied and looked real quick at the other end of the bar where I saw Nina still sitting and seemed to be looking at me.

Why do I have a feeling of guilt - as of I did something wrong?

Fuck it! I thought to myself and grabbed my ass, excused myself then made my way down towards her.

"This seat taken?"
