What happened last night was not necessarily too surprising to me in the sense of the flashing lights by the mob of photographers.

However, I was surprised at the fact of how quick that many photographers were there when nobody was around once we arrived.

In my experience, it meant that somebody had given word to somebody in order to have had that many in that short amount of time to be there.

Luckily Nina helped calm me down and reassured me that it was okay and didn't bother her souch but we will have to see because she still isn't used to that happening everywhere we go yet but, her acceptance of all of this so far has been reassuring for me.

I guess I should have known anyways that the 'privacy' of our relationship wasn't going to be that way forever. Also, this would definitely get back to everyone who works at the hotel so, that is something else to think about. But who cares......

Throughout the day today, I had to look through some emails and make a few phone calls before I met up with Nina for dinner.

After I got in my car then pulled up in front of the loading and unloading driveway where Nina goes walking into work everyday.

I swear that every time I see her, she gets more beautiful. Even wearing something as simple as jeans and a t-shirt along with a sweater like she is now, she always looks good.

I held the door open and greeted her with a kiss, like always, before I got back in and we took off to a restaurant that is closer to her apartment that she had told me about wanting to try.

It was a small place and seemed to be a little packed but the aroma is what would bring you in. You could tell the food you would order from here would be fresh and from scratch.

After placing our order and taking a seat across from one another, we both looked in each other's eyes and just sat there for a couple minutes holding hands while I gently rubbed the top of her hand with my thumb.

This is the kind of a moment that people talk about but don't really believe until it happens. There aren't many people I can think of where I can sit with them and neither of us say anything without there being any awkward silence and yet with her, I can.

Not entirely sure how to explain this feeling I am having but, I never want it to go away.

After grabbing our order and bringing it back to the table we sat there eating and talking about random things like we always do. She truly is good company.

"Sorry about not being able to see you as much today." I apologize.

"It's okay. We both were busy. I mean, I know that you work too." She chuckles.

"Yeah, I just, wanted to make sure." I smiled.

That right there should reassure me that I should stop comparing her to any other girl I have been with and get used to that fact. Because truth of the matter is, I have never had a girl understand I was one of those guys who said that when I had to work, I actually had to work and wasn't with some other girls.

After a while, that was how I got into the way of thinking where I felt I needed to prove I was where I was. But that is all in the past of course.

Tonight I was staying over at her place and it seemed like we had it all to ourselves but since the both of us were feeling a bit tired, we watched a movie and nearly halfway through, passed out.

The Next Morning

I was woken up by the loud vibration sound from my phone going off on the night stand and thankfully it didn't wake up Nina.

It stopped after a few more rings and right as I tried falling back asleep, I heard it go off again. So I slowly and carefully started to reach for it and once I saw it was my uncle, I knew I needed to answer it.

Once I got up and made my way quietly outside the bedroom and into the living room, I answered it.

"Hi." I whispered.

"Why haven't you answered me?!" My uncle demanded.

"Because I was sleeping." I tell him.

"Were you up all night drinking again?" He asked.

"Calm down! I was with...." I started to tell him almost mentioning Nina when I stopped myself just in time. "I was just up really late trying to help Trevon with his business."

"Oh, well, good." He states sounding a bit relieved. "I've called because I needed to ask you where the reports are for the hotel. You haven't sent me anything and I need to know the status of everything this far." He demands.

"I thought I sent you the emails a couple of days ago?" I remind him.

"I never got them. Now, I am trusting you here and if there is anything distracting you or this is too much then I need to know now."

"Nothing has me distracted. I swear I thought sent you the emails already. But I'll send'em to you later today. I have been busy though." I reassure him.

Damn, I didn't think I have been distracted so much lately to where I couldn't focus on sending the things I needed to to my uncle. I can't afford on many levels, to fuck this up or give him a reason not to trust me.
