"Ereina! P-please don't do this to me.."

Beside her was a familiar sword tainted with her ichor. It gleamed with dark magic. The sword was cursed.

"Shhh, sister..." She smiled at me softly, brushing a few strands of hair away from my face.

"It's been a long time. I missed you."

"T-there must be a way. You can't die like this. I-I can't-" I struggled to find the right words.

"Ereina..."

"Octavia, listen. All of these are meant to happen. T-this must happen-"

"Deodamnatus! You're not going to die on me, Ereina! That's bullshit!"

Malungkot itong umiling sa akin. "D-dimitte mihi, soror."

Translation: Forgive me, sister.

"E-ereina, you can't die. Q-quaeso..." My voice broke.

"1638 years is too long already." Mahina itong tumawa.

"T-tempus est, soror. Kalahar ser victus."

Translation: It is time, sister. You will understand soon.

"Et ludere magnum munus ana veritas erit. Memento quod es clavem ad omnia..."

Translation: You will play a great role for you are the truth. Remember that you are the key to everything.

"I-It will be okay," she softly whispered, giving a faint smile of reassurance.

Those were her last words before the first goddess finally took her final breath.

When she died in my arms, I desperately tried to use my magic to heal her wound but the glow on her eyes was already starting to fade. There was no use at that point.
