Running After the unknown Happiness

Chapter 12

"Hello, Would you like to drink something?" The waiter asks, Tom.

Adam gives him an un-readed face which made Tom correct himself.

"What would you like to drink..Ms?" Asked Tom.

"Karen, My name is Karen and I'd like to take a strawberyy fresh juice , maybe?" I smile and Tom nods.

"Yeah, I'll take the same here" Adam answers.

"Coming right up!" Tom says as he hurries back to the shop.

I got my phone out to check the time..Its 2:30pm and the lesson is 3:00pm..Should we be going by now?

"Shouldnt we be going by now?" I say out loud grabbing Adam's attention. Which its already to me. Always.

"Why?" Adam Laughs.

"Well, Its 2:30..You know?" I explain.

"Well, we're together now. We can have the lesson on 4:00, 5:00, 6:00 .. Anytime we want" he smiles and i smile back. He said "we" that relaxes me.

"Karen?" Adam asks

"Yea?"

"Nothing..." Adam says.

Adam's POV

I wanna ask her out..but i can't..its to early..which is fine with me but i think if i tell her that , She'll hesitate.

"What?" She asks me. Gosh! Shes sl beautiful.

"I was just wondering..If your hungry too?" I lie. Ofcourse shes hungry! She just got out of the water. Good to go Adam. I cant't fake a lie.

"Yeah." She admits and i smile , mouthing to her "1 second" and she smiles.

I go back to the shop asking him for pizza.

"Margrita?" Tom asks and i think for a while and shake my head no.

"Cheese lover" i tell him and he nods.

I went back to Karen Again and i can see her smile grows..Her smile is flawless. Her herself is beautiful.

"You like cheese right?" I ask her as i take a seat back.

"Yup" she smiles.

I can see that she wore the overalls again. Why?

"Here are the drinks , sorry if i was a little late" Tom apologizes handing us the drinks.

"Thank you , Tom" we both say at the same time and laugh. As Tom returns back.

Karen's POV

I wonder ..did Adam really mean to ask me if i was hungry? Cause..Its weird though. He hesitated at first so im sure he lied. Whats there to hesitate about in asking if someone's hungry?

"Do you have sisters or brothers?" I break the silence.

"I have a sister and a brother, Stacey and Jason" he smiles and i smilr back

"What about you?" He asks.

"Oh, i just have a sister, Sabrina" i tell him and he smiles.

After few minutes of silence the pizza came and it smells delicious even from far.

Adam grabs 2 slices of pizza in his plate and i do the same. He took a big bite..he must be really hungry. He's still cute even when he's mouth is full of food.

"Remind me to ask you something when we go to the piano lesson" adam tells me. What?
