Finns pov :
I was at my locker when Sam came up to me . "Hey man . " he said and we high fived. "Whats up bro ?" I asked "nothing much so I'm going to ask Mercedes to prom . " he told me . "Wow thats great man how are you going to ask her ? " I asked him. "I have no idea which is why I was hoping you and the guys could help me out. " he said . "Totally . " I said. "Great and can you have Rachel get Mercedes to the auditorium for me?" He asked . "Yeah totally. " I said. "okay cool so have you asked Rachel to prom yet ?" He asked as we were walking to class . "No , why should I? " I asked. "Yeah dude , what did you think because you were dating you automatically get to go to prom with her ?" He asked . "Well yeah I mean I figured it was planned . " I said. He shook his head and said, "Listen dude , Rachels a great girl if I were you I do a Prom-prosal. " he said . "How ? " I asked. "Well do something extra special for her like sing a song. " he said . I smiled, "Sam I just got an idea I gotta go . " I said . "Okay cool see ya later . " he said and I ran off .
Rachels pov
(The next day )
I was at my locker opening it up when I saw a note inside. I picked up the note and read it , "Dear Rachel ,
Meet me in the auditorium during lunch .

I smiled this was my chance to tell Finn that I got into NYADA I just hope he takes it okay. Finally it was lunch time and it was time for me to meet Finn in the auditorium. When I walked into the auditorium the lights were out and it seemed like no one was there . "Hello !" I yelled. "Finn are you here ?" I asked. Suddenly the spotlight hit the stage and standing before me was Finn holding a picnic basket. I smiled , "What is this ? " I asked. He came down off the stage and took my hand . We sat down on the blanket and he said , "Do you remember our first date? " he asked. "Of course I do how could I forget it . " I said. "Well ever since we kissed that day I knew in my heart you were the one . " he said . I smiled , "I'm not so good at communicating with others and the only way I can really show you how I feel is through song. " he said . The band , Sam , Artie , and Mike then came out with stools and Finn grabbed a microphone and started :

I clapped and then Finn sat me up on a stool and said , "Rachel Berry , I love you so much and I don't know what I would do with out . You are the light that brightens up my whole world , you are my shining star. So if you would do me the honor and be my date to prom ?" He asked. I smiled and said , "Yes I will be your date to prom." He smiled widely and yelled , "She said yes!" I laughed and everyone came out clapping I smiled and then kissed him passionatly.
