Chapter 5 - Did you ask Young Miss Lisa?

"Are you insane? I know that you have always liked her, but no matter what, she is still the sister of your former fiancé. Don't we have plans to deal with the Manoban family soon? He would not be really good to you," Loey said angrily over the phone. "You barely got out of the lion's den alive, and now you want to enter the tiger's den?"

She must really be insane. Otherwise, why would she go and provoke Lisa?

"I know but I really can't stay away from her, brother. So, just let me be for once okay?"

Loey could not accept this, but he knew that he would not be able to stop her.

He understood Irene's temper very well. Once she had decided on doing something, there was no way anyone would be able to stop her.

What was there to like about the Manoban family?

Nickhun was a bastard who would humiliate and set up a trap to frame his own fiancée in an attempt to cancel their engagement.

And now, his sister had chosen to get involved with Lisa. Everyone in South Korea knew how scary Lisa was. His sister had delivered herself up to her doorstep, so Loey was absolutely certain that Lisa would definitely take advantage of her.

It was in the middle of the night when a black car was cruising on the highway. Lisa was on her way back to the Manoban family mansion.

"Principal, this is the information that you have asked me to investigate and obtain for you." The secretary sitting beside Lisa handed a set of documents over to her.

"There seems to be an unusual relationship between Loey and Miss Bae. However, the both of them have been very cautious and careful; therefore, it is very difficult to run a background check on them."

Lisa took the documents over from the secretary and flipped through a few pages. She suddenly stopped and said, "Make a U-turn now. I want to head to the villa instead."

"Alright, then." The secretary quickly signalled the driver to turn the car around.

Other people might not know it, but the secretary understood the principal very well. The principal was extremely possessive. She rarely showed any interest in anything or anyone but once she showed any interest in something-she had to obtain a hundred and one percent of that particular item. She was not a sharing type of person. She did not like his possessions to be contaminated or impure.

Therefore, the secretary decided that she had better inform Miss Bae about this trait of the principal the next time she had a chance to.

Irene would never have imagined that her god-like idol would be jealous just because of her close relationship with Loey. Lisa arrived at the villa in just thirty minutes and she immediately stood before Irene as soon as she arrived.

Irene stared at the beautiful handsome woman who was dressed in a blue suit and was just about to ask why she had come back in advance when she grabbed her wrists and pushed her down on the sofa before forcing a kiss on her.

Irene did not understand what was happening and why she was acting this way. Her wrists were hurting because she was gripping it so tightly and she could feel her lips hurting too. However, she did not have the strength to push her away.

"Lisa."

Lisa finally recovered her senses when she heard her shouting. She lifted her head and slowly wiped the lipstick stain that was smeared on the side of Irene's lips with her long fingers.

"You said that you liked me?" Lisa asked. Her voice was hoarse and carried a tinge of sarcasm in it.

"Yes." Irene answered as she nodded her head. She then quickly shook her head and said, "You scared me a little by your actions just now, so maybe I like you a little lesser right now."

She did not know if it was because of the coolness of the sea breeze, or whether it was because of Lisa's coldness, but when Irene spoke that sentence, she felt as though she was about to be frozen to death because of the coldness in Lisa's eyes.

"You are able to change your opinion on how much you liked someone so easily?"

Irene stared at the beautiful handsome woman standing before her and she felt as though she was drooling at this perfect image. However, when she saw the expression on her face, Irene knew that she had to remain calm and play it cool.

"Lisa, after that brief moment just now, I have decided that I like you a little less at this moment. I can still decide this, right?" Lisa released her grip on her wrists and then lifted her chin with her hand. "I must say, you really do have some survival instinct in you." After speaking, Lisa reached out a hand and helped Irene up from the sofa.

She had reminded herself countless times not to believe what she says, but she could not help but feel happy when she heard her confessing that she liked her.

Irene held onto her wrists that were hurting. How much strength did this woman use?

"So, tell me. Why are you angry?"

"No, I am not. Go to bed earlier," Lisa said before heading towards the gate with no expression on her face.

"You are leaving already?" Irene was feeling extremely confused. Did this woman come all the way here just to kiss her and leave again?

"I am going back to the Manoban family mansion. Don't forget about the homework that I have left for you to complete," Lisa said coldly as she walked out of the villa with her secretary by her side.

Irene thought long and hard, but she still could not figure out why Lisa was angry.

Forget it. SM Entertainment had fallen today. She was going to have a good sleep tonight because of this.

She was going to be busy tomorrow because she still has to deal with the scumbags and bitches from SM Entertainment.

It was drizzling late at night in the early spring. The houses built on the hills looked like it was covered in fog when it rained.

This was the kind of atmosphere that Nickhun liked and therefore, he was always lazing in the living room. He especially liked making love with Sooyoung there because the floor and ceiling were covered with mirrors and glass, and this was the kind of excitement and temptation that no men could ever resist.

After taking a shower, the both of them sat down in the living room

Sooyoung leaned against Nickhun's chest and said in her sweet and charming voice, "We are about to get engaged but now SM Entertainment is in trouble. Therefore, I don't think they will be able to help us do what we had requested. Nickhun, I don't care. You promised me that you will make sure that this does not hurt my reputation. You have just called off your engagement with Irene one week ago, so how could we get engaged now?"

Nickhun stroked Sooyoung's smooth and fair cheek lightly and then said, "You don't have to worry about it. I will invite Irene out tomorrow and offer her some benefits so that she will cooperate with us."

"Alright then. You said it so don't lie to me. If it is possible, you have to make sure that the public hates her more so that we can get engaged without the public scrutinizing us."

"In order to be with you and marry you, I have already humiliated and destroyed Irene in the worst possible ways. Do you still not trust me? How about I drag Irene here in front of you tomorrow?"

"Alright then! But I am not trying to bully her; I am just doing this for our marriage!" Sooyoung said as she hugged Nickhun tightly.

"So-what if you are bullying her? I allow it!" Nickhun replied and quickly turned off the table lamp that was next to the sofa.

You allow it? You said that you allow it? Did you ask Young Miss Lisa first?

Irene slept very well that night but she was not sure whether it was because the bed smelled like Lisa.

In fact, there were many bedrooms on the upper and lower floors of the villa. If Irene was really afraid that Lisa would do anything to her, she could have slept in any of the other bedrooms. She could have just stayed far away from the master bedroom.

However, Irene was not afraid at all. She was rolling around the bed in the master bedroom and she even wore one of Lisa's shirts as well as her pyjamas.

She did not even dare to think about it before, but now she was doing everything that would provoke Lisa.

However, before she truly understood Lisa's true intentions, she would have to work hard to defend and protect herself. After all, she was not a casual and easy person.

Initially, Irene intended to sleep in and wake up later to continue her game with SM Entertainment and its artists. However, she received a call from an agent of YG Media inviting her to join them as one of their artists early in the morning.

The person on the other side of the call offered her a very good contract and even offered to clear her reputation for her.

However, Irene felt that the name YG Media was very familiar and therefore, she decided to call Loey to confirm it. After explaining it to Loey, he suddenly sneered out loud and said, "Are you telling me that the company belonging to that scumbag, Nickhun, intends to sign you as one of their artists?"
