Chapter 50: I Will Demolish This Place to the Ground...

"You guys...what do you think you are trying to do? Do not mess around with me...I will call the police," the butler screamed at them. He would never have expected that Lisa would come to his house.

This was the Lisa who was extremely powerful now.

The butler felt guilty at the thought of how he had treated Lisa in the past and he started breaking out in cold sweat.

"Are you that surprised?" Lisa sneered as she placed her arm around Irene's waist and hugged her tightly. She then whispered into Irene's ear, "Since we are already here, I will not let him off so easily anymore. I will let you watch a good show tonight..."

"Are you serious?" Irene asked Lisa.

"Was he scolding you earlier before I intervened?" This was actually the only thing that Lisa cared about.

Irene nodded her head slightly. The butler had just scolded her very badly indeed.

"Then I will have to take this very seriously then," Lisa replied with rage in her eyes. "Get into the car."

Irene did not understand the situation but she obeyed Lisa's command and quickly got into the car.

Lisa also got into the car before driving off to the nearest police station. When they arrived at the police station, Lisa made a phone call to Kim Taehyung. "My status is of an inconvenience, so could you help me to do something?"

Kim Taehyung was rather surprised to suddenly receive a call from Lisa asking for his help. "Do you need me to come out personally?"

"That would not be necessary," Lisa replied before explaining the situation to her friend. After that, she quickly ended the conversation and hung up the phone.

Very soon, a few police officers came out of the police station and knocked on Lisa's car window. "Ms. Manoban."

"What have you discovered?" Lisa asked.

"This man has a son and a daughter, and his son is currently working as a reporter. We have also discovered that the vehicle registered under his name has violated the regulations several times and he has also been involved in two hit-and-run accidents. His daughter is working as a public official but we cannot find any relevant interviews or supporting documents justifying her position. Therefore, we suspect that her test results were all fake. Finally, the house that this man is living in belongs to his mother, but he had driven her out of the house quite a long time ago."

"Then go and deal with that family now," Lisa replied with a straight face. Lisa then rolled up the car window before driving Irene off to a nearby hotel.

"Are we not going home?" Irene asked.

"There is always some preparation to be made before a good show."

Irene moved closer to Lisa before resting her head on her shoulder. "I said that I was going to deal with that butler on behalf of my woman, but it seems to be the other way around now."

"You do not need to draw such a clear line between the both of us," Lisa said as she placed her arm around Irene and pulled her closer to her.

After a short while, Secretary Oh arrived and he arranged for the both of them to enter the hotel and into one of the hotel room in a low-key and guarded manner to ensure their privacy and safety.

"Principal. Miss Bae. Have a good rest."

Irene looked around the hotel room. There was no bed inside the hotel room and it was clearly just a lounge. Lisa was extremely conscious about cleanliness and therefore, Irene could understand that she would not spend the night outside without any guarantee that it was extremely clean.
