Chapter 78: You Love Me the Most

 "Second uncle," Lisa greeted as she sat down at the dining table.

"Ryujin, this is Lisa, my elder brother's daughter. She is very mature and she is the most reliable person in the entire Manoban family," Seo Joon said as he introduced Lisa to Ryujin.

"Since you have already decided to return to the Manoban family, we will try our best to get the best doctors to cure your legs so you might have the chance to walk again. You should also let go of the past and start afresh, since your identity as a member of the Manoban family has already been restored," Lisa said as she stared at Ryujin.

"Lisa...is she always so stern and serious?" Ryujin could not help but turned around and asked Irene. "She is so cold that I am actually shivering."

"Not really. I think she is not that cold," Irene said as she smiled.

Because Lisa would only ever be warm towards her.

Lisa acted as though she could not hear Irene and Ryujin's conversation and continued speaking to Seo Joon. "Second uncle, if you feel like you need to take a break to digest everything that has happened today, you can take a short vacation or perhaps look for third uncle and spend some time chatting with him."

"I have already spoken to dad, since this is a big matter involving the Manoban family. I also have the intention of taking a short break but I feel bad for this child. She has just arrived at the Manoban family mansion and I cannot bear to leave her all by herself. Therefore, I would like to wait for her to settle in before we talk about this."

Seo Joon did not know why he felt calmer and more reassured as soon as he saw Lisa. It was no wonder why his father chose Lisa as the heir of the Manoban family. This was because as long as Lisa was around, everyone in the Manoban family would be well taken care of.

"Everything will pass eventually." Lisa's sentence was not merely directed to Seo Joon, but also to Irene as well.

This was a really special meal for Irene because it was the first time that she was having dinner at the Manoban family mansion without the presence of Min Young and Nickhun. She felt that the air was fresher today without their presence.

After the meal, Irene thought that it was about time to go home and thus voiced her intention to Seo Joon.

At this time, Lisa also got up from the sofa and said, "I will send you home then."

"Then, I am sorry to trouble you, Lisa," Irene said as she smiled. At this time, Ryujin made a gesture, beckoning Irene to come to her.

Irene walked towards Ryujin and leaned over as Ryujin whispered into her ear. "Is she really just going to drop you home?"

Irene was stunned for a moment.

"Don't be nervous. I will not tell anyone else."
