Chapter 53: Her Heart is Aching

Loey used to Lisa in the past because he thought that Lisa was merely taking advantage of Irene. He assumed that Lisa was just like Nickhun—that she was only messing around with Irene as Nickhun did in the past.

However, Irene had repeatedly spoken up for Lisa and had even assured him that the relationship between Lisa and herself was real. Therefore, he finally understood the situation, but there were still certain things that he wanted to discuss with Lisa in advance.

"Alright then."

Irene could only look at the both of them helplessly as she already knew that this day would come eventually.

"Okay then, but both of you are not allowed to fight."

Loey rolled his eyes once again, knowing that Irene had only said that because she was trying to protect Lisa.

The three of them then quickly finished dinner before Lisa and Loey proceeded to the balcony for a chat as Lisa's study room was confidential.

Irene tried to eavesdrop on their conversation but was quickly discovered by Loey. Loey then pulled her ear and said, "Can you just give us some privacy just for a short while?"

Lisa looked at Irene's red ear and her heart started aching immediately.

"Fine, I will go out now."

Irene stuck her tongue out at Loey. She could only ever reveal such a childish side of herself in front of Loey because of their close relationship.

Irene then quickly returned to the living room before taking out her script to go through it once again. At the same time, Loey finally began talking to Lisa.

However, at that time, I felt that the two of you belonged to two completely different world," Loey said as he leaned against the fence and allowed the cooling sea breeze to blow lightly against his hair. "I know that you have given up a lot and done so much for her in the past, yet I feel that you should not think that she is indebted to you because she has also suffered a lot for you."
