Chapter 159: You are Sweet

"Lisa, they only did that out of concern for you," Irene quickly defended them as she held onto Lisa's arm. "They are all good people, just like you."

"I know that. Otherwise, they would not be standing here right now." After speaking, Lisa left the hotel room together with Irene. At this time, Kim Taehyung and Kim Hanbin finally heaved a sigh of relief and smiled as they watched Lisa and Irene walking away from them.

"This sister-in-law...we will support her!"

"Hm." Lisa snorted but she did not stop walking

Kim Taehyung felt a little upset when Lisa was finally out of their sight. "Why does it feel as though we have just lost one of our comrades?"

"But don't you think that sister-in-law is a really interesting person? She is not only beautiful with bright and sparkling eyes but she has also proven that she is very intelligent indeed. Lisa had never once thrown a tantrum or gotten mad at us previously but she was so angry and annoyed just now. This shows how important sister-in-law is to her."

"I know that Lisa has never felt anything for my sister before but recently, my sister has been asking around for more information and details about Lisa's personal life. I am just worried that my sister will create trouble when she finds out about Lisa and sister-in-law," Kim Taehyung said as he sighed. "Forget it. We will deal with the problem when it arises."

On the way back to the villa, Irene told Lisa about what had happened during dinner earlier that night. As she was feeling a little uncomfortable because she drank some wine, Irene was lying down as she rested her head on Lisa's lap. She sighed as she said, "Lisa, sometimes I really envy you because you have such close friends who really treat you like their own sister."

"Do you not mind that they tried to make things difficult for you?"

"Why would I mind anything? They were being really nice and polite to me, especially Kim Taehyung, as he was afraid that I would be angry that they doubted me in the first place. That was why he kept giving me all the cards that I needed to win. If you think about it, I was the one who was bullying them," Irene replied as she laughed but after a few seconds, she was sad once again. "I have no friends...and I do not dare to make friends or get close to anyone."

"But you have friends now, right?"

"Well...if you count the young paparazzo, Director Jung, and Tiffany as my friends."

Lisa patted her head gently and ran her fingers through her hair before he sat her up and hugged her in her arms. "Are you still feeling unwell now?"

Irene was lying in Lisa's arms, smelling strongly of wine. She looked up at Lisa and shook her head. "I feel better because you are with me."

Lisa could not help but to lean in and kiss her gently on her lips. "Sweet."

"You are sweet."

Irene blushed immediately as she hid her face in Lisa's chest. She did not want to move because she was feeling so much warmth and love at the moment.

A short while later, they arrived at the villa and surprisingly, CL had already prepared supper for them.

Irene looked at Lisa with a perplexed expression on her face. Lisa immediately explained, "After the meeting, I rushed over to the hotel directly after I read Kim Taehyung's text message."

"Were you afraid that I would get bullied?" Irene asked as she hugged Lisa tightly. "Lisa, I am already contented because I get to be together with you. You do not have to worry too much about me and protect me all the time because I can fight for myself too. However, there is something that I still need to ask you. Did you know that Jennie Kim is Kim Taehyung's sister?"
