"I will let you know when we bump into her at the company in future."
Tiffany initially thought that Irene would care about what other people thought of her.
However, ...
"That would not be necessary. I do not have so much time to waste worrying about what other people think about me."
Irene's sentence immediately proved Tiffany's assumption wrong and left her speechless.
...
Later that evening, Irene watched the famous and highly popular variety show, at home. Each episode was about eighty minutes long and it was broadcasted every Saturday at 7.30 pm. Though the program had only been introduced over a mere span of two years, it had already gained national recognition and it was very popular.
Irene had already watched a few consecutive episodes and she felt as though her face was going to develop cramps from all that laughing.
She could tell that the production team had spent a lot of time and effort on the innovation of the program.
Furthermore, most of the sponsors for that variety show were big names in Seoul City. Besides Ace Media, one of the most luxurious hotels in Seoul City was also one of the sponsors for the show.
After watching the most recent episode, Irene looked at the time and she was shocked to discover that it was already 7.30 pm, yet Lisa was not home yet.
Irene took out her cell phone, intending to give Secretary Oh a call to ask about Lisa's whereabouts but at that moment, she suddenly received an incoming phone call from an unknown number.
"Irene, I am your father."
As soon as Irene heard Bae Soobin's voice, she was extremely excited and screamed, "Dad?"
"Do you have any free time tomorrow? If you are free, I will get someone to pick you up to meet up with me at Conrad Seoul."
"Okay, dad," Irene replied immediately.
"Alright then. I will see you tomorrow."
At this time, Irene did not know how Bae Soobin was related to Conrad Seoul. She had thought that he had merely chosen the hotel as a location to meet with her and have a good chat.
Lisa finally entered the villa at eight o'clock that night. As soon as she stepped into the house, she saw Irene sitting on the sofa, leaning forward as she kept laughing.
"Lisa, come over here," Irene said, patting the empty spot next to her as soon as she saw Lisa entering the house.
Lisa took off her coat before she handed it over to CL. She then walked over to Irene and sat beside her. "What is happening?"
"Do you think that I have the talent to be funny?" Irene asked Lisa as she pointed at herself.
Lisa looked at Irene and she thought for a short while before she replied, "I guess that the rating of 4.0 that has been received by the television dramas that you starred in already proves that you have the talent to be funny."
"As my girlfriend, you are not qualified to give me any opinions because you will not take me seriously and you will always be biased," Irene replied as she looked scornfully at Lisa. "So, what if the television drama only achieved a 4.0 rating? I gave it my best too!"
Lisa looked at Irene helplessly. In the end, she replied, "You know very well that I only watch the news to keep up with current events on weekdays. Do you know how I felt when I had to watch those television dramas that I do not really enjoy?"
